IMHO, I thought that was a very profound speech made by an accomplished educated man that is very capable of understanding the needs of the American people and what must be done to get our country back on track.
Reply
In his message he was very positive, addressed the problems and offered solutions to what it's going to take to get America back on her feet again.
Go Obama!!!!

Jordan, per the news on Yahoo, McCain has done nothing but attack since Obama's speech!
Thanks EE. Not been around much, got a flu shot yesterday and my upper arm is swollen, red, itchy and sore.. Never had this kind of reaction to them before, don't know what's up with it.
Plus i'm a little ticked with Propeller management. I don't think Non-Members reads should have such an impact on what goes on in Prop, and i don't think Members should have to police the site for banned trolls.-

So did we! He was wonderful, nothing negative, addressing the problems, talking like a natural born statesman and leader. I do believe that God at times creates "Natural Born Leaders" and he is one.

you have to remember, Jesus was a rogue, socialist, and the first hippy/flower child. Wonder who Jesus would chose? The more liberal one or the war fear more of the same already wrecked the country Repub party. What would Jesus do?
Sorry to hear the bad reaction to the flu shot, I am allergic to eggs and can't get one.
I agree about the reads, it is unfair to our community. I pushes the trash into the spot light and at times our home page looks like a trash magazine.
It is less than a week away now, soon it will be over. I have limited my time on here also, but at times it is fun to come out and tweak them!!!!

I watch his speech and was moved. If I was sitting on the fence, his speech would have made me jump to his side. My wife had tears of empathy in her eyes as she listened to the plight of the middle class - the need for affordable health care, the need to keep and generate jobs in America and not overseas, the need for small business entrepreneurs to get the incentives for renewable and clean energy production, the need to provide incentives for the auto industry to make more efficient and competitive automobiles and to give tax relieve to the 95% of Americans who actually work for a living. And if it's bad for the middle class, it's even worse for the poor. He offered a plan that addressed all these issue and one other: He is a TRUE American who loves his country and wants the best for us.

Hubby and I talked about the amount of money it took to do this and we agreed that even that we could only afford $30-50 a month to donate we felt that it was worth it.

This program gave us the opportunity to hear him as if we had gone to one of his campaign rallies. We felt as if we were at a campaign rally and thought that he offered the best answers and solutions to the problems facing America and the people of this great country.
We also felt that he offered us "HOPE" for a better America versus the McSame/Pain negativity. -
