  I'm fine with fining a bank if they allow the foreclosed home to deteriorate and to bring down community home values. The bank has an obligation to keep up the home like any other home owner.

    I'm with you, and I think the law as well since from the point the bank/lender become the owner of the house then they have all the obligations that any other member of a community/neighborhood has.

    I heard stories that evacuated families made parties or vandalized just before they left. Despair can take you to dark places.

    One thing I have stopped doing is being partisan. I know good men from all different parties, including Constitution, Independent, Libertarian, Green, etc.
    I love Republican Ron Paul, Libertarian Mike Gravel, Democratic Dennis Kucinich, Constitutionist Chuck Baldwin, INdependent Ralph Nader...all very good men.
    Back to bank foreclosures, As a community, we have to become more involved. I think we are switching into Survivor mode. And, maybe we need to support the banks and vice versa on a neighborhood basis. I go to a small bank in neighborhood.
