Nostradamus Writings Predict McCain Victory »
Posted By ind06 1 year, 2 months ago in HumorCAP NEWS - "Conventional wisdom picks Obama. Nostradamus, four and a half centuries ago, picked John McCain," said Dr. Hubert Evans, professor of Renaissance Studies at Yale University and author of the best-selling "Nostradamus: Prophesize This!"
"Quatrain 78, Century X in particular seems to indicate that Obama had better not be measuring the White House windows for curtains quite yet, at least by my interpretation," said Dr. Evans.
The quatrain to which Dr. Evans refers - Quatrain 78 - is located in the grouping of stanzas known as Century X. Originally published in 1555 in Nostradamus' still-popular Les Prophecies, Quatrain 78 reads in full:
At the war's end:
The Feeble Kept One will strike down the Night
And his Imbecile Queen will rise from the snow
Bedecked in finery and the pelt of a wolf.

This is what Century X, Quatrain 78 actually reads:
Reply
X 78
Subite ioye en subite tristesse
Sera à Rome aux graces embrassées.
Dueil, cris, pleurs, larm. sang excellent liesse :
Contraires bandes surprinses & troulsées.
Sudden joy to sudden sadness,
It will occur at Rome for the graces embraced:
Grief, cries, tears, weeping, blood, excellent mirth,
Contrary bands surprised and trussed up. -

Quatrain 12.5 says:
"The giant Awz! his head in green smoke and flame
Sets lions, straw and metal men to flee, yet
when the curtain is pulled by the dog of Kehnzahz
he shall be no Wizard"
I think THAT makes it perfectly clear who's going to win this election!-

Let's keep it simple, America and the World must have a new direction, Obama wins, America wins, the rest of the planet wins. 'W' and his friends and family get cleaned out, we get winning government competency back; they get the billions lost in Iraq, the bail out, and stuff we'll never know; those that aren't in prison. New Orleans, Huston, and other area's hit by natural disasters may see an organized approach to their recovery. Something else comes on TV so we don't have to deal with the McCain negative attack ads. I like all these, please vote for the nation, Obama.

Hmmm, yeah this is humor, I know that. Went to my copy of the Complete Prophecies of Nostradamus. Century X, Quatrain 78: "Sudden joy shall turn to sudden sadness, At Rome to the embraced graces, Mourning, cries, weeping, tears, blood, excellent mirth, Contrary troops surprised and carried away."
Reply
Century X, Quatrain 79: "The old roads shall be made more beautiful, There shall be a passage to Memphis summarily, The great Mercury of Hercules, fleur de lys, Making the earth, the sea and the countries to quake."
Century XII, Quatrain 5: "Fire, flame, hunger, theft, wild smoke, Shall cause to fail, bruising hard to move faith, Son of God! All Provence swallowed up, Driven from the Kingdom, raging and without spitting."
Is everything perfectly clear now?-

Sound's like 'W' was here. My a-- was flamed in the last 8 years. It's done, cooked to the bone, I for one don't need more from the party of McCain to continue the process until the flesh falls off the bone. It's surely some wild smoke going on from this administration, oh that's me. Son of God!, the nation has been Bruised! Is that a fit or what?

Nostradamus anticipated he would die.
One day.
Sometime.
Sooner or later.
And within these exacting parameters, he most certainly did die.
Eventually.
Proof he saw the future!
1.When Nostradamus predicted "sardines will one day have keys on their cans," he was really intending for those keys to be on their butts.
2. Three hundred years before the Confederacy, Nostradamus scribbled copious outlines for a futuristic novel set in the New World's New South during "a War Between the States."
Nostradamus' manuscript pre-dated and echoed every character and plot twist in Margaret Mitchell's acclaimed 1936 historical novel, "Gone with the Wind" -- except, there was no Aunt Pittypat.
There was an Uncle Pattycake.
Mammy and Prissy were attorneys from the Law Offices of Mammy, Mammy, Mammy, Prissy, and Cohen.
And instead of scrounging for carrots in her garden, a ravenous Scarlett O'Hara shoplifted a Pecan Log from Stuckey's.
Amazingly, Nostradamus' book was entitled: "Gone with the Windsor Tie."
Nostradamus suggested, after predicting the invention of motion pictures, his dream cast for "Gone with the Windsor Tie." He, too, chose Vivien Leigh for his Scarlett. However, it should be noted, his exact words requested "the ever-so-lovely Mrs. Larry Olivier."
Nostradamus continued making plans for a film. "Between now and eternity," he said, "there shall be only one man to walk this Earth who can portray the handsome scoundrel from Charleston. Oh, please, employ my Rhett Butler: Samuel Gompers."
Mr. Gompers, the U.S. labor leader, who died in 1924, was unavailable to comment for this story.
"Or," Nostradamus said, "My second choice for Rhett? The ever-so-scalawaggy ex-Mrs. Tom Arnold."
Roseanne, the U.S. actress and former Arnold, may have been available to comment. We didn't call her.
3. In the late 20th century, Nostradamus decreed, baldheaded men would apply spray-canned hair onto their scalps! -

Nostradamus should have predicted how sickening this process is becoming. Issues get analyzed less than 10 percent and the rest is how campaigns are run, personalities, polls and rumors. Silly, and We American's don't seem to be embarrassed that the rest of the world, we claim the be the leader in, is looking on. McCain, being feeble in body and mind, with a VP runner that is feeble in knowledge and character, seeing how she can spout out lies, could fit the prediction. Obama, being of a race that the law once said one drop of African blood makes him some fraction, 3/4, 7/8 or something like that of a man, that could mean coming from a feeble station in life. Unemployment being double digit for African Americans is one indicator. If the destruction of the nation's economy, hence losing the Dream is also predicted, then that might be McCain continuing the GOP, 'W' policies. Did the script mention a Maverick? Nostradamus is going to be right if he meant Obama. America, and as we see the entire planet needs change. 'W' and this last 8 years are so bad Nostradamus should have seen it all the way back then and would warn us to vote for change.

In a related story, Palin predicted Armageddon and an after life for herself and a few others in heaven (they are all good Christians), beginning November 5th, 2008. Nostradamus predicted more accurately that Obama will win, God bless America! Nostradamus also predicted McCain/Palin/Bush/Cheney will join him (Nostradamus) whereever he (Nostradamus) is, right on November 5th, 2008...and all of their predictions came true.

"Obama, Pelosi, Biden all believe in abortion. Too bad their mothers didn't have an abortion. The world would be a better place without them. And I don't believe in abortion."

No. But as a self-proclaimed Christian I find it odd that you believe in embracing hatred, judgement and in usurping God's power on earth for your own ends. Isn't that what Satan's supposed to do? -
