VIDEO: OPRAH SEES OWN PRESIDENTIAL VOTE DROPPED BY TOUCH-SCREEN VOTING MACHINE »

Posted By Spadecaller 1 year ago in News

'I went back to check it, it had not recorded my presidential vote!' Oprah voted yesterday on an electronic voting machine. Whether it is a Diebold or Sequoia machine; her vote and yours is still 100% unverifiable.

Yea... who cares if Diebold, Sequoia, and ES & S, who are owned by right wing fundamentalists and dominionists, select the next president?

Again there is the question ???? I'm telling you if McCain wins illegally like Bush did !!!!!! There are going to be some seriously distressed and angry citizens !!!!

How angry really depends on how well the exit polls are aligned with the outcome of the voting !!!!!!

Ya can't win if the devil is allowed to cheat his way in like Bush did !!!!!!

The creeps from the voting machine companies better get ready for a quick trip to Russia, because enough people know what they have been up to.

I can see it now; these jerks are probably getting scared. Will they have to "adjust" the machines again to correct their fix?

I have seen these machines hop from one selection to another non-selected candidate. Enough Americans have witnessed this crap.

I can see the Boston Harbor filled with electronic voting machines come November 5yh, if the vote is skewed again.

It's remarkable that we allow for this to occur. It's a fact that the last 2 presidential elections were hacked. I think our friend Ricky was being sarcastic though. There is a new report that links
Ohio vote tampering in the last presidential election to the same clowns who handled Bush Administration external e mails.
    http://www.propeller.com/story/2008/11/01/document...

If Obama wins by say 51 to 49, you can be sure it's really 62-38.

Here in Maryland we are doing away with the voting machines all together. We haven't even finished paying for them yet. I don't understand why they can't put a little printer on the machine that will print out your votes, you can then sign them and deposit them in a box like we did our original voting cards then you would have a verifiable recount source.

Of course one should always be...vigilant about fraud. It's a buyer-beware situation, really.

In New York City, where I live, one registers one's vote using a very primitive mechanical contraption: you push a large lever to open the curtains of the both, mark your choices by flipping small levers allowing X's to pop up in actual tiny windows opposite candidates' names, then seal the deal by returning the lever to it's original position, which also opens the curtains so you can exit. Very 1954.

I've often wondered: is any of this connected to anything? The mechanical sounds of the machine are impressive, but...

I mean, what's the means by which the votes are actually recorded?

    I'll accept all answers.

Why would a representative ask Oparah why she was going back to check her ballad? That does not even sound right. That sounds like she was not given privacy. That could be looked upon as harassment in a different scenario.

I went back to double check my selections. Doesn't everyone? If a worker came over to ask me why I was going back, I would be offended and probably feel like I was being rushed.

If you are not diligent and double check who you have voted for, then you probably don't need to be voting in the first place.

And if the poll workers are asking why your going back to check your selections, then they are not doing anything to help you. They are hindering your time at the booth and I think that is very disturbing.

The same thing happened to me, when I voted in the last mid-term elections. When my vote hopped to another candidate, I asked for assistance. A volunteer responded in the same manner.

Can we say riots, mass demonstrations, refusal to accept the lies !!!!!!!!

Can we say Bush trying to impose martial law to maintain his beloved dictatorship !!!!!!!

Sadly I can see violence, something I never want in this country again !!!!!

But freedom must win out !!!!!!!!!! If our votes don't count, then they are saying we are no longer Americans with the right to choose or leaders and we need to address that in the most direct manner we can !!!!! With our voices and actions !!!!!

It will be more than interesting Tuesday night. Even though I know Obama currently holds 53% of all votes and has more than clinched the electoral votes, I'm anxious that somehow they will announce McCain as the winner. Here in Texas, a historic red state has turned blue over the last 2 weeks in early historic voter turnout. Obama leads at 53%. If they announce McCain as the winner, it will get ugly, real ugly..

The headline to this story should be printed to be accurate, like this.

OPRAH IS TO DUMB TO KNOW HOW TO OPERATE AN ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINE!

Be sure you all read the article before you run with the tripe posts you see here.
Opera didn't operate the voting machine correctly as she was instructed to do. Her vote wasn't counted because she did nopt operate the machine correctly.

I have noticed that most neocons (like 4thchance) use the same sick thinking; they like to blame the victims of crime and corruption for the crime itself to free themselves from taking any responsibility for their lack of concern for their fellow Americans. A sad lot, for sure.

Thank God that even most McCain supporters are embarrassed by them.

I hope you guys aren't too disillusioned with the polls that are in Obama's favor. In reality, I have been making calls for the past week and the majority of the people I have talked to are either voting for McCain or are leaning McCain. There haven't been a lot of Obama supporters. This just makes me wonder about the polls.

with 2 days and 2 hours to go gallup has Obama up 52 to 41 among all registered voters and 52 to 42 among likely voters.
say what you want about ACORN but mickey mouse isn't responding to gallup polls.
no one has ever come back from a double digit deficit in the polls at this point in the election.
of course a black man has never asked to be put in charge of all the guns and money before either.
                so we shall see.
but I would have trouble believing a mccain win was anything but criminal.
