    I think I may one of the few Rhode Islanders on the side of the tribe. They certainly have the right to use their own land as they see fit. The fear is that they will introduce casino gambling. Foxwoods is less than 30 minutes away; barely across the state line in Connecticut. Rhode Island has all the problems of casino gambling but none of the benefits; the state should have made a deal years ago. Instead back room deals have taken place against the interests of the tribe and for the benefit of foreign corporations' gambling interests.
