Most who plan to vote for Obama will say they're voting for him because he will bring change.

The problem I have with that so called "change" is that Obama has never really said what that change will be. He says crap like...He will raise taxes only on people who make over $250,000 per year, then he say's $200,000 then it was 175,000. The last I heard it was $120,000. I say if Obama is elected we ALL will pay more in taxes. Anyway, the bottom line is that Obama is full of CRAP. He has pulled the wool over many peoples eyes!

He says $250,000. Not 200k, not 175k, not 120k. You're just making crap up. You can lie to your friends. I can lie to my friends. Let's not lie to each other.

He does say $200,000, but it's for single filers. It's $250,000 for married filing jointly. The marriage penalty is back.

if its a tax break at 200 for single and 250 for jointly (meaning their income is listed as one income) how is that a penalty? with two incomes the total should be larger, therefor by increasing the ceiling of those included in the tax break for the couples, he is benefiting marriage not punishing it.

Not really. 2 married people working in comparable professions making about the same salary, just say $200,000. One of them starts paying higher taxes at $50,000, not $200,000 even if they file separately because they both itemize. One reason for that could be if one of them owned a business as sole proprietor, and Obamas talking gross, not net.

You should stop being so cynical.
Only good cabinet appointments and an effective staff can get any good legislation through the house, and only after the President gains their support
Bush had the support of many nations and both parties after 9/11
It took deception and underhanded tactics of the grandest of proportions to lose all of the support he had....Period.
