When I talk with my fellow Christian Conservatives they are very excited about Sarah Palin.
They will do anything to get her elected.
This enthusiasm is mirrored from one end of the country to another.
But what I like most about this enthusiasm is how Palin supporters describe the reasons why they support her.
"I think she's pretty, she dresses nice. I liek her outfits."
"I lieke that she lieks hockey. I know a lot of parents who liek hockey. It will be gud to have a hockey mom in the White House."
"She's liek one of us. She talks liek we do. When she winks, I feel liek she's winking at me."
"I'm supporting her because Mainstream Media is picking on her. I always support the candidate that Mainstream Media picks on. Course, I broke that rule when Clinton was President, and when MSM made fun of Al Gore, and when them Swift Boaters made fun of Kerry."
"I guess I got one of them, whatchamacallit, doubl-staandards."
Those are just some of the quotes from the informed electorate I've heard.
Strangely, I never hear any real enthusiasm for John McCain.
Oh ... I did used to hear AlphaGnosis call him a 'Doddering Old Fool".

Where did you dig up this republican rag?
Reply
It's like a rogue poll by some unkown financial rag.
Anyway, it shows 9.5 % undecided and Obama with a 4.5% lead.
I guess you think that is accurate since most show fewer undecided since the election is tomorrow.
Obama 56% McCain 40%; Obama 320 or better electoral votes. -

This is why Obama has run in Iowa and Virginia, which were supposed to be his. It indicates he knows McCain may be pulling it out.
Reply
Obama also knows his coal comments will kill his support in Ohio, Montana, Colorado, so look for pull outs there.

What ACORN fraud? You mean the registration fraud by a few ACORN employees? That doesn't equate to VOTES.
Reply
Voter fraud is extremely difficult to pull off, which is why it is extremely rare. Now election fraud is a different matter. You know, like the Republican 'caging lists', and sending broken or an inadequate number of polling machines to poor (and largely Democrat) neighborhoods...?

for a more complete look at the polls:
Reply
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/presi...
they take an average of all the major national polls.
today Obama has a 7.5 point edge.
Gallup has Obama up by 11
CBS has Obama up by 13
ABC/Wash Post has Obama up by 11
Fox has Obama up by 7
yesterday the RCP average had Obama up with a 6.5 point edge.
so, contrary to the con fantasy being posted here, the spread is increasing in Obama's favor. not the other way around. -

Well, no matter if Obama or McCain wins, it will be interesting to watch the "unbiased" media. If Obama wins we will hear about how the air is somehow a little purer and the sun a little brighter. If McCain wins we can watch them slowly wilt and wonder how the world went so dim. Watching a wilting media darling is somehow so much more satisfying.

Hmmm ... seems as though your quote and your comment are just a bit too late.

8 Years of George W have brought our nation to her knees, he's empowered multiple agencies to spy on us ... and people such as yourself remain supportive of his policies of destruction.
But you're right about not knowingly adopting socialism ... while many of us recognize the Bail-Out proposed by GW as pure socialism ... people such as yourself are so partisan you are unable to know it when you see it.
It's the army of ignorance that destroys a nation.
Clearly, you are in the front lines.

The very essence of the Neo-Conservative Ideology is Welfare for the Wealthy ... where the middle class pays a higher proportional tax rate than the wealthy.
Reply
Warren Buffett pays a lower tax rate than his secretary ... as any of his employees.
This is the moral perversion of Neo-Conservatism.
