You're very observant!!! That's because she was only picked to try to get the women voters - as great as his speech was - it was built only on illusion imagery, unlike Obama, who ran his campaign with heartfelt intentions - which was felt by the constituents. He ran a campaign that was perceived by the voters to be sincere.

With the addition of Palin, voters saw through the charade, and many forced themselves to believe that it was real, against their better judgments according to a McCain supporter last night.

McCain's reaction, to Palin, at the end of his defeat conceding speech was apparent. Her reaction seemed to be cold as well, as if to say, I'm going to be running in 2012. But there will be another woman, who IMHO was the best candidate period - Hillary, who will defeat her soundly.

    Deuxnut ... no, but Obama will be challenged the entire time ... depending on his Cabinet choice; because as we all know - it's the staff the Prez is just the figurehead, once things start rolling. He does his input, but it's the staff that lubes the gears!!! As a matter of fact, if it was up to me, I would have every Presidential candidate put their wish/dream team up for everyone to see, while campaigning. Imagine then ... you would be picking a team, for it takes a team to steer the country.
    
    Finally, the Obama win was not just for black people, rather people of color other than white!!! The black voters were not even a majority of possible black voters; who went to the polls for Obama. It was all the other blocs (Asians, Pacific Islanders, Hispanic, Native Americans and White Europeans - that put Obama into the White House - something he should never forget.!!!
