Video: Black Panther poll intimidation in Pennsylvania? »
Posted By pc25 1 year, 1 month ago in NewsHopefully, this kind of thing will be kept to a minimum today. Fox News reports that voters complained of intimidation in Philadelphia when they saw a purported Black Panther poll watcher guarding the door to the polling station with a nightstick. Police apparently moved him along (transcript by TV Eyes):

Funny how they haven't mentioned all the polling places opening late, not at all, or having 100% machine malfunctions in the poor areas of contested states.

Thanks for inviting me to your story pc25 ... a story devoted to 'keeping hate alive.'

I might say this validates my contention ... my belief that y'all really don't like Democracy ... and yearn for a kind of Dictatorship of some kind ... whether like a military dictatorship such as Augusto Pinochets in Chile ... or possibly a fascist regime such as Generalissimo Francisco Franco in Spain.
I believe that there is, and always has been a certain percentage of people in every nation who wish for this.
Fortunately, in our nation, the percentage of people who wish this, while well represented here on Propeller, make up a small percentage of the general public.
I do realize that you are a very passionate and vocal minority and recognize that you can, and will, continue to pose a threat to our nation ... and so I will never sell y'all short.
But today is a day for celebration!
It's a great day for Democracy! -

There are wackos everywhere, though thankfully their numbers are small. Personally, I'd hoped that this election could be held with a lttle more class than some in the recent past. It didn't happen, and there was far too much mud slinging for my taste. On this Forum, the Dems contributed their fair share (and maybe more on the subject of Sarah Palin). Where we are now is the election is done and we have to get back to reality. I'm sort of wondering what sort of person Obama is.

Now we'll get to listen to the Rupukelicons wail and cry on how Americans have seen through their lies, hate, fear, and divisiveness and thrown the corrupt idiots out in the cesspool from whence they crawled!

Well I'll make my note here on your comment on what's to come. I'm retiring. I've always wanted command and am very close. However, with the change in DC, I'm thinking 24 years isn't as bad as that. I suspect my command will be surprised. I wonder how many other career officers will take the walk with me?

Not the Fake Christian currently occupying the White House.
And not the 'McSame that vowed to continue the Failed Policies of the Fake Christian.
It's a great day for America.
But I recognize the pain that haters such as yourself must be feeling. Although ... I do recognize that people such as yourself have a strange elation that comes from wallowing in hate. Given that, I guess I should simply wish you 'all the best'. -

I thought Obama won? Christians rarely attend services with Nazi like ministers, i.e. Rev. Wright.

As to being great, I'm not sure. Only time will tell. Looking back in recent history, many were confused when the UK replaced Churchill. At the time the American voters didn't like Truman. Who knows what will become of the Bush legacy. If it's done fairly, he will be vindicated. -

Ah yes, the spectre of the Nazis once again appears in this rant of ljponejolic. We had our little Hitler for the last eight years and now it time for a JFK type of leader. And people have realized for a long time ago how stupid the wingnuts are for voting for Bush twice. This election proved it!

You know PC25, I decided to visit this trashy story to see what you guys were up to. It didn't surprise me that it's still the same message of hate. The message that actually hurt McCain rather than help him. He had no choice but to seek out haters like you and your ilk to support him, because his party had already suffered immense damage by the President and Vice-President of this country. It's not McCain's fault why he lost. It's the fault of people like you who continually broadcast the message of hate and will even sink to the level of lying to propagate that message. You can't possibly be proud of the fact that you contributed to such a defeat. Then again, I sincerely believe that you think what you are doing is correct. Maybe it's your upbringing. Maybe you weren't taught a sense of decency and fairplay in your formative years. So you see the world as place where the ends justify the means as long as things go in your favor. My wish is that you become better informed and join with us to make America the great country it has the ability to become. America is a great country. Last night it actually became better.

So, I read your whole response and see "message of hate" and not in reference to Black Panthers intimidating voters. Nothing disputing that it happened. Nothing disagreeing with the authors point. The only logical conclusion is that you agree it happened as posted and find that fine. Having read the other posts, no Obama proponent denied it happened either... The closest I saw was along the lines of "well, the other side does it too" sorts of things.

Anyone with any sense of honor and belief in democracy would either: 1) Dispute the facts; -or- 2) Deplore the action. You do neither.
Your comments and their's are a sad commentary on the Obama crowd... -

hey jovi how readily you try and turn the tables......the message of hate is coming from the black panthers that's night stick wielding black panthers they are talking about........defend it if you can......can you imagine the uproar if this were a bumch of swastika tattooed skinheads doing this at a polling place.......you would never hear the end.........and as for teech's comments he finally revealed himself to be what we always knew he was .....a street thug hooligan as did the rest of the libs on this thread.

When I was walking out of the polling station here in Cali where I live, a black man was walking in. I looked at him (hoping he'd be voting for Obama to). He looked back at me, smiled & waved his hand. If anything, I hope this election will unite us all.

I like the way you liberal guys keep up the spin. Anyone who disagrees or has another opinion than you have are called names such as haters, far right loons, divisive, etc... Keep up the name calling, and it shows how ignorant you are along with those that you have differences with. Diversity is what made this country great, and it will be what keeps this country great. Even despite those that are on the far left and far right, who seem to be the ones that cause all the divisivness in this country. Rejoice that your candidate won, but pray that he dosen't make a fool out of himself like Mr. Bush did. You never know what fate will throw Mr. Obamo's way. I will bet that Mr. Obamo dosen't realize what he has now stepped into. He needs our prayers.

If you can't see the difference between a mediocre Bush and an intelligent Obama, then you must not have the full capcity to use your brains. Bush approached problems with his mind made up and wanting events to conform to his vision while Obama will study the situation, get as much facts and opinions he can, then make an informed decision.

I do agree that he needs our prayers. Bush still has 90 days. He can screw up a lot more in 90 days. He is going to try to throw our country further down the toilet before he hands the reins over to Obama for sure. But I don't agree that the left is the one who is spinning. Did you not see the title of this thread? And liars should be called liars. Did you not see the lady who said someone carved a B in her face? That was a lie. Did you see things like that coming out of the Obama campaign? The lowest blow I heard was that McCain couldn't use a computer. OOOOH Terrible!!

If they WERE white skinheads, they would surely be McCain/Palin supporting, Neocon Repuke mindless thugs. FOX would ignore it. Rush, Sean, and Michael would hail them as "true patriots."
