I do too. I find it reassuring that this isn't something he's putting together now, but rather something that has been in the works for quite some time. The article indicates a committee of four dozen having worked on this for months already. I swear...there seems to be nothing this man hasn't planned on, thought through, and figured out WAY in advance of this election and the campaign. It's like he's figured out everything he wants to do and has worked out the kinks already so implementing them should be much easier. What a refreshing change from the current administration who seems to prefer the gut reaction, fly by the seat of your pants tactics instead. I love it!

bush's use of signing statements alone was sufficient for impeachment. congress had no excuse in allowing them.

but remember how many policies obama supported, including the telcom immunity act, war in afghanistan, etc.
on one hand, anything good obama does will be a miracle, but on the other, he's not going to change the course of the empire.
these are trying times.-

you say bush had a disregard for the constitution..how does that reconcile with obama who wants to fundamentally change this document we founded our nation on..obama doesnt want to ignore .circumvent or distort it..he wants to RE-WRITE it..that seems like change we dont want..but change we will get..this isnt rhetoric..its his own words..and pelosi is right behind him

obama is going to change the constitution??

Okay. I'll bite. If it takes 75% of the states to ratify any change to the document, how do you expect President Obama will make whatever change that you have invisioned in your hystical nightmare?

Now we won't get the domestic and offshore drilling that most Americans want !
Yippee !
More reliance on foreign oil ! Maybe Putin can bomb a few oil reserves over there in the Middle East or Iran...Bring America to our knees while King Apollo Obama tries to make wind power happen here in the states...
Should be up and ready in about 50 years...
If we're lucky....-

Dare I ask: "What type of Cheese?"
Seriously, Barack made his stance on offshore drilling clear. I think most areas will be open for leasing. Then some of that area will have surveys done. Then some test wells will be drilled, and if they find some oil or gas it will take a few more years to develop the fields so, maybe we'll get some oil to market from these new areas in 7 to 10 years.

I totally agree....The liberals in this country will not be happy until they bury America even further....You don't go from worse to MORE WORSE when you elect a president...But yet we manged to somehow do this....He said that he would be bi-partisan and "reach across the aisle"....But everything I've seen in terms of his cabinet selection says otherwise...He's surrounding himself with even more radical lefties that don't have any record or inclination of working with the other side....Plus the fact that now this idiot wants to come into office and get rid of most of the Bush doctrines and policies....Why? Some of them are good and to simply go in and get rid of stuff just because they're Bush's? Oh yea.....Sounds REAL bi-partisan to me....

America is in trouble....With this clown in office now....You could look forward to 4 more years of dismal, pessimistic policies geared at making America more vulnerable to attacks and even more reliant on foreign oil....
Thank God it's only going to be 4 years....
Hopefully he won't do too much damage in that time.....
We can only pray... -

Ah, more sweet neo-clown tears......I couldn't disagree more. Regardless of what Bush has done to our country, I think we have always been a Great Nation. Okay Bush did a lot a damage, but the election of Barack Obama has already yielded positive results in turning that arround.

The obvious early favorite is Barack Obama at -140 odds. Mitt Romney is next with +1600 odds and Governor Sarah Palin along with Hillary Clinton are close behind with excellent odds at +2000. A couple of the long shorts at +10000 are Al Gore and the World Wide Web's favorite candidate Congressman Ron Paul
