If I only had a nickel for every church I've ran into that claimed to be the, "One and Only True Church of God."

Interesting read mntnman, I personally don't have a problem with polygamy if thats your thing, as long as its between consenting adults.

The real irony is that the Mormons were persecuted for their beliefs. Now, they are interested in preventing others from living their lives as they wish. Some need to look in the mirror.

I remember when I was a young teenager and exposed to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints missionaries and their Bible. I thought their version was just as fantastical and imaginative as the Judeo-Christian one. But what rational, thinking person could believe their stories as truth? Do people realize some of the things they believe?

Whenever I think of Mormons, I think of the Mountain Meadows Massacre September 11 1857

There's also a good DVD movie called September Dawn that tells the story of Mountain Meadows Massacre.

I just can't understand a group of people who have been persecuted would persecute another group. It is just awful how they now can take the rights away from people who are just trying to find happiness.
