Not my thing...one is quite enough but I don't care if they do it...live and let live.

The mormon church seems to have forgotten what it was like to be chased out of every state from NY to Utah because of who they chose to marry...they did a terrible thing in California. -

I don't either if it is consenting adults that are aware of the real world. The ones I have a problem with are the ones that live in compounds that have multitutes of children never exposed to orginary life and if they happen to be males are kicked out at 18.
Now, I wonder what it would be like to have a multitute of husbands???????? Just wondering.......I bet a lot of work would get done on the property......but I think i would be one busy hen!!!!

No matter what the "official LDS church" says there are still polygamists in Utah and not just those of Warren Jeffs FLDS which is the original mormon church who went to Utah and refused to give up polygamy.

I remember seeing on the local news one of those fluffy feelgood segments towards the end.The segment was about baking cookies and there were 3 guests sharing recipes...a police officer and his 2 wives. The thing that struck me was, besides the fact that polygamy is illegal, the reporter hardly discussed the 2 wives thing,it was all about the cookies. And I didn't hear about any outrage towards the TV station.

I remember when I was a young teenager and exposed to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints missionaries and their Bible. I thought their version was just as fantastical and imaginative as the Judeo-Christian one. But what rational, thinking person could believe their stories as truth? Do people realize some of the things they believe?

Whenever I think of Mormons, I think of the Mountain Meadows Massacre September 11 1857

There's also a good DVD movie called September Dawn that tells the story of Mountain Meadows Massacre.

I just can't understand a group of people who have been persecuted would persecute another group. It is just awful how they now can take the rights away from people who are just trying to find happiness.
