Rush Limbaugh Gives Caller A New SUV »

Belinda Davis just wanted to get something off her chest. So she called the Rush Limbaugh radio show to vent and, much to her surprise, ended up with a new Chevy Tahoe.
“I was frustrated about movie stars who helped with Barack Obama's campaign and the millions of dollars they gave to him,” she said.
Davis, a Kerrville resident, didn't like all the attention and praise celebrities got for supporting Obama, while working stiffs like her and her husband were ignored.
Limbaugh thought she sounded under the weather and suggested she try an over-the-counter cold product called Zicam, which advertises on his show. “I would go out and get some and swab your nose,” Limbaugh said. “I'll tell you what else I am going to do. I'm going to send you a copy of Vince Flynn's latest novel. In addition to Vince Flynn's latest novel, I'm going to buy you a car.”
Davis didn't know what to think. “I thought he was joking at first. I had no idea he was really serious about this,” she said. But two days later, she was at a local GM dealer, where she picked out a $58,000 fully-loaded Tahoe. “I'm just so thankful to Rush,” she said.
Limbaugh told CNSNews.com that he made the offer on a whim because “she sounded so tired, distraught and frightened about her and her husband's business future with an Obama victory.”

It is absolutely amazing. One person does a nice thing for another person and a bunch of complaining idiots want to bring him out in front of the firing squad for it. Whats wrong are you just upset that you didn't get anything for free.

Thank you, Arlene! I was just about to post practically the same thing. It's wonderful to hear that someone did something nice with no strings attached! I'm not a huge fan of Rush, but I give him kudos for this. It's refreshing so see. And for the lucky lady, You go girl. Enjoy your big old free Tahoe!

These dolts are sucking off the hind teat of the hog, and just dont know that it is about to be slaughtered. They do get many things free... food, healthcare, housing... what else can I name that they rely on the government for? Oh yeah Paved roads and Men and women who are willin g to answer the call of liberty so that these whiney idiots can continue to have the right to be stupid and complain that they don't have enough snack foods to feed their unruly, ungrateful kids.

Rush Limbaugh's promotes an agenda that is destructive to the rights of working people. Giving away an SUV does not compensate for the damage he does to this country. He has a mass of brainwashed zombies who are self anointed "ditto heads" that repeat his lies and never question his assertions. However, Rush and his brand of conservatism is dying.

Also , I wonder if Rush had anything to say after Oprah gave away all those cars . My guess is that he found a way to link it to her liberal politics and then proceeded to insinuate that Oprah is un-American . -

I doubt that Rush Limbaugh has the ability to feel guilt. That would presuppose a conscience, and I don't think he has one. If he had one, he would have canceled his own show a long time ago. -

I don't care for Rush and am a Democrat and quite happy with our new President Elect. However, I believe what he did for this lady is wonderful, and how anyone could say anything wrong about his genorosity is perplexing! Thank you Rush for showing some kindness at a time when our countrymen need to see and do more of it!!!!

Ironic, that a whole country was miserable with Bush's policies and we had to put up with him for 8 years. For goodness sake, Obama is not yet President, he is only President elect. This woman needs to go back under her rock and hide for the next 8 years, so that she can be unhappy all by herself!

They spend our tax money on all sorts of "charity" to their voting constituents. This is usually called BRIBERY.

He didn't do it out of the goodness of his heart. I'm betting we see this line trotted out again in a future Limbaugh show about the evils of Obama becoming president and how it could affect the common man. Hey, I wonder if I call in and rant about the McCain/Palin loss could I get free swag? -

I too am concerned these movie actors that make so much money they can give thousands to the democratic party choice. I simply do not go to movies or watch movie stars on tv. I also do not watch charles gibson ABC or whatever her name is on CBS but then I never watch CBS anyway after the way they handled the Palin interviews.

I think buying her a car was great. What disturbed me was the fact that the lady was greedy herself and used the situation to buy an expensive car so she can drive down the street looking like a movie star. Obviously she wants to distance herself from the working stiffs of the world by appearances in the first place so what is she complaining about. @@

At first, the lady chose an inexpensive truck, because she did not want to feel like she weas taking advantage of Rush, but Rush INSISTED that she choose something she WANTED and not what she thought she should take.
Rush then made sure the dealership in Kerrville got the SUV the lady wanted...

There are lots of rich liberal types that you can be snarky about who I am sure deserve, but Biden just isn't the best choice to pick. He is a pretty middle class guy as far as those things go. Some time ago, I was among those who did not like Rush. Until someone asked if I had ever listened to him. I had to admit I hadn't but "everyone knows what type of person he is". After I listened to him, I realized that most people formed an opinion of Rush not on their own experience but what was told to them by the liberal media. Now I'm a regular listener. I'm an Hispanic man who thinks for himself.
