Is Hannity an Anti American propagandist? Hannity, by his own definition is anti-American. For years he's criticized anti-war activists claiming they were Anti American for not supporting the President.
Reply
Now it is Hannity who is undermining the authority of the incoming President.
Hannity, throughout the presidential campaign, fraudulently planted suspicion based on radical theories that have no basis in reality whatsoever. He regularly spewed outrageous unsubstantiated nonsense and continues to do so calling - Obama a terrorist, Muslim, Marxist, racist, anti-American, election cheat, and evil.
By his own definition he is an anti-American traitor.-

What exactly do Hannity, O'Reilly, Limbaugh and others (plus some liberal news/commentator types, as well) do now that Obama is in?

Whine and complain for the next 8 years?
Must get awfully tiring doing the same old spiel, day in, day out, even if you are paid to do so.
I'm glad the election is over, finally. Now I can get back to a normal life...-

Let's see, the DNC has been at war with the GOP and conservative since the 1994 elections when you lost the Senate and House. For the last 8 years every one of your minions claims Bush is a Nazi. I must have missed the memos on camp locations.
Reply
By the way, have you listened to your candidate? If he isn't using the communist, fascist or Nazi guide book to power, he's creating a new form of power. He's promised to weaken national defense while creating a new national civilian military. For what purpose, I have no idea. When questioned on this he's been very unclear. He's promised to tax successful businesses to support the failed ones. He voted against privatized Social Security yet he's supporting the seizure of everyone's 401K. He want the "same" health care coverage he has yet his plan resembles Canada's plan, killing all private plans. Power plants. No energy at a fair price no businesses and no jobs. Welfare for all? Gun control is another issue. Barry & Joe support very difficult gun control laws. Will his private police force, let's call them the Gestapo enforce this?
Finally the real reason the big three are worried, they're going after talk radio. The only media not controlled by the DNC & liberals. The Fairness Doctrine will end this industry. The main hosts will go to satellite and that would end your tax subs. Local programs would simply disappear. Why doesn't the fairness doctrine include TV and more specifically NPR and PBS? Can you imagine if the networks had this too? Once again we see example after example of the left restricting the free speech of people who don't agree with them.-

It's a link to a video of Obama speaking of a civilian national security force.

So you object, now that our military is stretched thin elsewhere, to forming a force to restore order to a place like New Orleans after Katrina, where the authorities just left?-

Actually, I believe that the National Guard is just another 'name' for a "civilian" defense - BECAUSE, the Guard is SUPPOSED to be trained people to protect THIS country and ONLY this country, and only IN this country.
Reply
And what is your stand on gun rights? If civilians own guns, then they can form a "security" force anytime they want - all it takes a a bit of 'organization'.
BB64 ... get OVER all the cr*p and make some sort of effort to understand the TRUTH for a change ....-

That was clearly not what he is selling. He's a lawyer. Unless he's also an idiot, if he wanted to increase the size of the National Guard or Military reserves, he would has suggested starting the draft. What he promised was a civilian armed force equal to the United States Military in every way. For what purpose? Does he not trust the military now? Then again he bashed them for the last 2 years while in office. You mention Katrina. What do you need the military for in Katrina? Bombing? Tanks? F-18's? That whole mess was caused by the stupidity of the local and state governments. All the rest of the country was prepared and handled it much better. Why I wonder. DNC mayor. DNC governor. A long history of corruption. Money given to them for building better levies. The Feds really hold far less blame then the media accuses them of. They couldn't move into Louisiana until the governor formally permitted it. She held up the order for over 24 hours.

On your other comments of ignorance, a civilian cannot for his own security force anytime he wants too because he owns a gun. There are licenses, permits, insurance etc. Nice twist once again.
Since we're on this topic of forming new SS wing of the DNC. When do they form the Obama Youth?-

Obama hasn't "promised" ANYTHING regarding a "civilian" military.
Reply
How about reading the 2nd amendment and tell me if anything Obama said (not "promised") violates that amendment, and note what that DOES mean about a civilian having " his own security force any time he wants to".
The Katrina debacle was a mess ALL AROUND, but EQUAL BLAME goes to Bush and Homeland Security and "Brownie" because they F-ed it up BIG time.
How about Blackwater? Bush's private security force used in Iraq - they are paid $150,000 a YEAR. Check how that compares to what OUR military troops are paid.
And, what do you think that HOMELAND SECURITY is? Or the Patriot Act??
Bush and his administration have moved us SO MUCH CLOSER to a police state than Obama EVER would.
You really are a sad case ... so deluded ...-

Blackwater actually came into being during Clinton's time. It's a private security force that some nations including Afghanistan needs to protect it's leaders. How you keep putting Bush in this I do not understand. Did he buy this? Perhaps with tax payer money? Because that's exactly what Barrack said. I've quoted his speech. A civilian armed force. Same weapons as the soldiers but not under their command. Sounds very fascist to me.

That org IS objective and does NOT lean to one party or the other.
You cannot pick and choose what you will accept as FACT - you either accept ALL facts or NONE. For you, it appears to be NONE.-

I've been actually working so I wasn't able to spar with you. On Fact Check, I've done further research, prior to coming back and my opinion has changed somewhat. They do seem to have some credible people on their board. Unlike you guys, I can change my opinion on some things.
Reply
As far as Obama, I maintain he's the least credible candidate with the least amount of experience we've ever had. I don't trust him nor his party. They've failed to show me why I should have faith in them.

"Fugitive Days". Ayers refers to Barrack as a personal friend and acknowledges Barry was a guest at his home many times. Also the launching of Barry's career in his living room. The press must have missed this book creating the news on Palin's family.

The fuller context of Obama's from the San Francisco Chronicale 17-Jan-2008 comments is below:
Reply
"Let me sort of describe my overall policy. What I've said is that we would put a cap and trade policy in place that is as aggressive if not more aggressive than anyone out there. I was the first call for 100 percent auction on the cap and trade system. Which means that every unit of carbon or greenhouse gases that was emitted would be charged to the polluter. That will create a market in which whatever technologies are out there that are being presented, whatever power plants are being built, they would have to meet the rigors of that market and the ratcheted-down caps that are imposed every year.
So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It's just that it will bankrupt them because they're going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted. That will also generate billions of dollars that we can invest in solar, wind, biodiesel, and other alternative energy approaches. The only thing that I've said with respect to coal – I haven't been some coal booster. What I have said is that for us to take coal off the table as an ideological matter, as opposed to saying if technology allows us to use coal in a clean way, we should pursue it, that I think is the right approach."

BTW-Factcheck wasn't what I was talking about.-

Anyone that builds a coal-powered plant doesn't have to be 'bankrupt' by being charged for spewing greenhouse gases IF they build to NOT do that in the FIRST place!!!
Reply
Any corporation that does ANYTHING that pollutes our planet SHOULD be charged and fined and required to STOP it.
And, ANY corporation that PLANS to build any sort of "plant" or "process" that has POTENTIAL to pollute can PLAN to NOT do that when they build.
NOTHING that Obama said is any proof that he wants to ELIMINATE all coal mines or coal-powered plants.
You really just DO not get it ...

News flash - Bailout has already been presented by the admin, approved by congress (including both the rep and dem candidates), and attempting to be circumvented by members of the admin. It's happening now.
Funny that the alleged kooks like Kucinich and Paul voted against it both times. Who did you support in the election? Someone who voted for the bailout or someone who didn't?
You reap what you sow as I am betting the house that you voted for someone who supported the bailout on both votes. You are part of the problem. You are supporting and voting for candidates that are doing the very thing your words allege that you are against, but your actions seem to indicate you support. -

NOTHING.
Check into what Bush and the Republican administration has been doing to allow corporations to move headquarters offshore to avoid corporate taxes and to move manufacturing and work offshore to avoid high wages, pensions, health care, and unions.
