Russian Village Church 'Vanishes' »

The Church of Christ's Resurrection, in the central Russian village of Komarovo, was built in 1809 but in early October someone took it away brick by brick, Father Vitaly a spokesman for the local Russian Orthodox Church, claimed. "We have sent a letter to local prosecutors," he said. "Who exactly did this, the investigation will show."
The church was in an isolated area only occasionally visited by clergymen, so the disappearance was not immediately noticed.

Did someone take the Church apart ... brick by brick? It has been said that as time goes on, mankind's knowledge shall greatly increase. Did this Church disappear brick by brick or did it disappear through mankind's great stupidity such as magic, mental telepathy ... and such EVILNESS. I've been told that people have "powers" -- does anyone use their "powers" if they do have them ... to help society? or only hurt? Almighty Creator ... forgive them for they know not what they do, as Jesus said.

Diane... the article clearly states that the church was taken away brick by brick. Instead of flying into some fantasy world and quoting the bible, why don't you educate yourself about how people struggle in other parts of this world. That deserted, unused church was probably disassembled by some poor people who used the bricks to build some shack to live in, and that sounds like something Jesus would APPROVE of. By the way, I am so grateful to have been so LUCKY to be born in America... instead of worrying about where I am going to get my next meal from, I can go amuse myself with the entertaining Criss Angel... He doesn't know what he does to me, either! Purrr!

Hi, Merlin ... Is what I stated a FANTASY WORLD? I'd really like some feedback about my ideas? I'm glad I was born in America, too. However, I think America will be blown off the map one day ... if The Almighty doesn't intervene. Right now, Merlin, we have enough food -- how about tomorrow? or next year? I understand conditions are very bad worldwide. When I made my reply about the article, I wasn't exactly refering to this specific case ... I was giving food for thought.

better check the passports of the magicians from Vegas again... you can trust them to leave anything alone,they've made the Statue of Liberty dissapear Elephants I believe one even made a Boeing 747 dissapear. Come on guys return the 200 Year old Church who's nose, or ear is it up?

Well said johnnie. Everyone knows Obama's plans are to get rid of our well earned money, and give it to those who could care less about education, college, or work. As Peggy in Florida said, "Obama's gonna pay her mortgage and her car payment". It's all those freeloaders who want to be able to depend on government to pay for all that they were too stupid to save up or work for. Obama's a joke, as are all of his inexperienced, compulsive, supporters who just want a free ride through their lives.

Explain that to those who remember things like Life liberty & the PURSUIT of happiness and that pursuit doesn't mean give,free, guaranteed, or without work it just means you have the right to pursue those things & that in order to reach them you will have to do something. Wheres the United we stand when it comes to work or paying taxes or training & getting new jobs instead of living off of unemployement or welfare year after year abusing it. United we stand only when it suits you personally how is that united. I stand here amused at how backwards and truly lost we have become the last 30 years & how the USA, the statue of liberty & our founding fathers stood for is gone. You can't bury your head in the sand & think nothing will hurt you just because you can't see. United we stand is said by those who just take until it doesn't suit them anymore then they disappear.

Osama Barak the new Hitler. Looking forward to seeing the faces when reality sets in and Osama sells out American & the very things the USA, Statue of liberty, and our founding fathers stood for. Life liberty & the PURSUIT of happiness doesn't mean its guaranteed, free, without work, or the responsiblity of others. In the end you still have to work. Hitler was an unknown then got a little press. Osama was an unknown till he gave a speech at the DNC then he moved from state senate to US senate in both cases doing absolutely nothing but talk and preach his cult leader nonesense as did hitler. Blaming others and promises change but not explaining how either would be the savor of all. Then both were brought into power of false pretenses but once in manipulated their way to more and before long noone had any rights and the governments became dictatorships. After both came to power things that could have changed the out comes came to light in Hitlers case that he was might have been gay or a jew & in Osama's case since we all know he went a racist black pastor's church for 20 years until it became a liability still he supressed reporters & news papers who saw his cult leader ways and didnt agree. Also that he enjoys harbor law breakers and is friends with terrorist fanatics and radicals. Osama Barak = Jim Jones, Stalin, Hitler, and Saddam all in one. Good job in 4 years if there's still a US left & when nothing changes but you lose your job or have to pay more taxes you voted for him. And when he starts to strip away your rights and opens he US to further attacks and encourages them by run like the coward he is. Next time we're attacked remember you voted for him.

bpeter, hmmmm... jobs going away, bailouts for corporations (who pays for that) oh I forgot its Republican administration right now, doesn't sound to far from what you promised with Obama.
