Described thusly: "Cthulhu Fhtagn! The stars will align as Q-workshop and Chaosium Inc. unleash the Call of Cthulhu dice set upon the mortal world - a great asset to all servants of Great Old Ones!"

These are so beautiful, and so awesome . . . but why in the world are they so expensive? Surely they're mass-produced just like other dice, so once the dies (ha!) are cut and the actual dice are produced, the costs are the same, right?

They are custom made from a manufacturer in Poland. Regular sets are in the $20 range, but I don't really know why the Cthulhu ones are so pricey. I think they're supposed to be limited edition.

Or they could be made from the slagged remnants of the Chernobyl reactor. Who knows? -
