The big story this week is the huge, nationwide (almost worldwide) protests against Prop 8 and anti-gay-marriage forces by Join the Impact - over 300 US cities saw protests at city hall, including Sacramento, where we marched with an estimated 1,500 gay, lesbian and straight allies from City Hall to the State Capitol, chanting "What do we want? Equality! When do we want it? Now!". Join the Impact, a new group organized days after the election, estimated 1,000,000 would attend all the rallies combined.
