The only known genetic risk factor for Alzheimer’ s disease slows down the brain’ s ability to export a toxic protein known as amyloid-beta that is central to the damage the disease causes, scientists have found.

      Makes me glad that I am adopted. My dad recently passed from Alzheimer's and it is horrible. One of the last things he said to my mom was "Hey baby! Wanna go on a hot date?"

      His sense of humor was there all the way until the end. Any research into this horrible disease is well needed.
