So not only will the taxpayers pay for a private attorney, they will pay double because Gonzales has requested a private attorney.

Will we have to pay for his attorney in the prison corruption case as well? He's been indicted with Cheney in Texas, FYI.

Isn't it disingenuous to have the Justice Department, who is guilty of supporting the illegal recommendations of a the indicted defendant?

The time has come for some major house cleaning.

Of all the trillions of taxpayer dollars stolen from working class Americans during the Republican Reign of Middleclass Terror, this is not the worst by far.

However, it does set a horrible precedent and is completely partisan.

Hopefully when Obama takes over the new and clean Justice Dept will quickly put an end to this BS.

Imagine if your lawyer knew that you were not paying his bills and that the pot was bottomless. Can you imagine the cost run-up on behalf of this criminal??

Obama will clear up all these problems in government easily and quickly. In addition, we'll get:

Universal healthcare. That will solve the problems of the big three because they can dump their retirees on government (which is us).

Cap and trade system: Any company that makes anything will soon have a new product to sell ... carbon credits. That means that all those coal plants out there can sell carbon credits instead of power to make money. Duke Energy can't wait ...
Of course, we pay more for electricity, but maybe Al can add some jobs to his carbon business.

A new tax on fuel. We all know that we can't stand to have gas prices down in the $2.00 range, so lets add a buck or two tax to keep the peons from buying what they want to drive. We need to put them in little cars even though most of them are too fat to fit.

Shut off criticism. We need to protect objective sources of information like MSNBC, Huffington and moveon.org, but close down FOX and talk radio. We'll keep an eye on the others to see if they cower properly and act accordingly.

Higher taxes: Government can never function with less money, so we have to make sure they have more. We won't miss it, they tell us.

Things are looking up, aren't they.

We're seeing partisan politics in every department of government as this transition takes place. Are we to sue everyone for the hiring decisions they make.

It appears to be a frivolous lawsuit. Of course he should have a private attorney paid for by the Justice Department.

These students will recover. re-submit now because they now fit in with the mood.

Conservatives probably don't need to apply unless they want to sue later for seriously hurt feelings.

Maybe they should put him in custody, wait 5 years before telling him what the charges are.
