mm, tomorrow is the deadline and they expect to meet it. They said they started it and intend on finishing it.

It use to be that U S F & W had to approve every thing done and every thing done had to have an "Environmental Impact Study". This not only protected the environment and wildlife but also people. This not only affects Endangered Species but allows them to not do Environmental Impact studies regarding human beings also. Example: If we put this chemical plant here, the drinking water supply to the city down stream will get contaminated with the outflow.....etc. People don't have a clue that they are now "Endangered" and industry no longer has to conform to standards.

If there was a way, the major wildlife groups along with Al Gore and Robert Kennedy Jr leading the way would all ready be in court stopping it. I have been getting mailings for months from these people about this advising me to contact my reps. Little good that does since congress has done nothing, yet.

I started to write President Elect Obama at the link you gave me, but I am so depressed I can't find the inspiration to write the words, it is very rare that I am "speechless"....eagle sigh, eagle cry...

God only knows what slimy scum bag things he and his administration will slip in between the pages.
