O'Reilly suggested "fix is in" for Franken on MN recount, despite report that Coleman campaign approved of recount panel

Summary: Bill O'Reilly claimed that Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie (D) was "actively rooting for Al Franken" in the Senate race between Franken and incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman (R) and that "the fix is in." But O'Reilly did not note that Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty approved of the composition of the canvassing board Ritchie named to certify the vote and oversee the recount or that a lawyer for Coleman's campaign reportedly said that the "state should feel good about who's on the panel."

For those that won't click on the link in the article to the MN Secretary of State's webpage and the specific page that announces the MN State Canvassing Board:

As much as I dislike Govenor Tim Pawlenty (More Vetos than any other MN Governor, yes to whatever the Current Presidential Administration wants) this is one thing he is doing right. With the entire Nation and the world watching this recount it has to be above board.

And as the Governor stated, he appointed two of the judges that are overseeing this process. I'm sure for the good of his party he wants Coleman to win. That said in this area the Governor is doing MN proud. I'm not surprised those at Fox and Company are ignoring facts.

I expected to hear most of what was in the video, but I laughed when Hannity said that the Secetary State had ties to radical organizations like ACORN and the DNC. The DNC is a radical organization? I laughed out loud. Don't you just want to shake the people who listen to these guys and believe the crap that comes out of their mouths? Ridiculous. The best part was when the Republican Govenor said it was all be handled by good and trustworthy people. I could just see Hannity rolling his eyes.

The only thing bigger than O'Reilly’s mouth is his ego. The last count that I heard was that Coleman was leading by more than 200 votes. If Coleman should win Bill will claim that it was the fact that he “exposed” Ritchie as a partisan. If Franken should win he’ll just rant about corruption in the electoral process.

Bill creates his own reality, when he was on the Daily show he insisted that the “teddy bear” that Jon Stewart gave him was a “Panda Bear”. The man is nothing less than delusional. I’m rooting for Al.

The democrat plan is to rip off this election with fraud. Then they will have a "super majority". Then they will run amuck and rabid pushing all their insane far left wing crap on everyone of us. America is about to become something none of us want. It's a shame the left does not understand what they asked for.

I want the dems to keep this in mind as our country turns into a pile of SH*T.

You ask for this, in fact you begged for it. Have fun while your prayers are being answered.
You begged for it and now your about to learn what you actually begged for and will get. If election fraud is allowed then we no longer have a democracy, it's that simple. But try to convince a democrat of that fact. They won't see this until it's here, and that's a shame. TO LATE, you asked for it and it appears your going to get it. POOF....Democracy be gone!

Do you democrats understand the basic principle of allowing election fraud to be left unchecked. Do you understand what that means for Democracy in our country? Let me spell it out for you. If any party is allowed to use fraud to win elections, that means our votes no longer count. In turn, that means we no longer have a democracy. Do you understand that basic principle? Of course you don't, not unless it was the republicans using fraud, then you would understand it all to well. It's time you pull your heads out and see what the hell is going on here. No one in this country wants to lose our democracy. WAKE UP!

You're absolutely right. It was a crime for the DNC to allow the election results in 2000 and 2004 to stand, when there was clear evidence of fraud.

It was also treasonous for the prosecutors in charge in 2008 to NOT criminally prosecute those who sent out letters to the electorate saying that Republicans should vote on the 4th, and Democrats on the 5th.

What is the fraud going on, 4th? A recount? A recount required by law, overseen by judges and lawyers selected by both interested candidates? That's your fraud???

Or are you still going on about ACORN being defrauded by their workers, who registered Mickey Mouse, or the same person multiple times and FLAGGED THESE REGISTRATIONS AS INVALID? Did Mickey Mouse show up to vote? Did Joe Smith vote 97 times at his election place?

If you've got evidence of fraud going on, or a link that provides such evidence, or even a reasonable suspicion thereof, why not present it? Instead of insanely rambling on about 'election fraud' as though it's as plain as the nose on your face -- a nose which apparently even you can't find -- show us your nose! Show us the evidence!

Funny, you didn't cry in the river of deceit after the stolen elections of 200 and 2004 now did you?

You just can't accept that in MN we have checks and balances in place, like this mandatory RECOUNT THAT COLEMAN HAD to agree to. He has always known about this recount. So spare me the dems are trying to steal the election. It's not flying.

Thanks for not reading the article again.

This is not dems stealing the election. When an election is this close in margin on election night (AGAIN political race doesn't matter) in MN it is Mandatory Recount. It would not matter who is the Secretary of State or the political party they belong too.

Thanks also for ignoring the comments made by REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR of MN Tim Pawlenty who supports the recount, appointed the MN Supreme Court tow of the judged on the canvassing board, and Coleman's attorney (who has been part of the process every step of the way) who has approved the process, ignoring the fact that Coleman's votes since the election have increased not just Frankens, and only believing the right wing radio talking heads who don't believe what they say and who are AGAIN getting the facts wrong.

I beleive if election fraud is allowed by one party, then you can expect a huge backlash from the opposing party. A backlash will come that may look alot like a civil war in this country. I can say one thing for sure. One party will not be allowed to win elections by voter fraud. If that is allowed to continue, there will be a huge price to pay. A price we will all pay dearly for. So sure, go ahead a love what's going on with your election fraud. Dems win, then they lose, we all lose.

As a MN resident, I'm glad to see this heated battle has come to a amicable ending in contrast to the harsh mudslinging from both sides during the campaign. I'm not a huge Franken supporter, but Coleman is... ish. I voted 3rd party for this one.

To call a contest fraudulent, don't you think we would need a more reliable source other than or in addition to Bill O'Reilly. What does Ann Coulter, David Duke, or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad think about it?
