Napolitano Tapped for Homeland Security »
Posted By TimALoftis 1 year, 1 month ago in Political News(Nov. 20) -- President-elect Barack Obama wants Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano to serve as his secretary of homeland security, according to reports in several media outlets this morning.
Politico.com cites her law-and-order experience when she served as her state's first female attorney general as one factor that made her attractive for the job. CNN.com says that the final decision depends on the vetting of the governor.
