Hey! I'm the first one Yowzah! Yes it certainly was a turbulent week, what with the elections, the collapsing of Wall Street, the plunging of the gas prices, and the failure and seeking of bailouts by the auto industry et al. Plus my article of (GASP!) an "honest" politician telling a whole town that they were too stupid to work with!

    Great coverage James as usual.

As we head toward Thanksgiving its been another tough week on the news front. Highest jobless claims in 16 years, the big three in such distress, peoples 401K's balances down nearly 50% from just a year ago...I think its weighing on all of us.

    James, great post as usual.

    JamesMarcus,

I enjoyed your article as well as your choice of quotable bloggers. But, be careful quoting me as I've alienated Liberals and Conservatives alike!

Of course, it is always fun to see someone else find you quote worthy! And, danged if I wasn't mighty quotable this past week! LOL

I have a hard time NOT posting on subjects like politics, the economy, and other topics that are directly affecting us as a society. So, keep those article coming!

Great WIR JamesMarcus! I'd like to thank you for noting that people, of late, have been taking the "easy way out" and treating my posts as news! Apparently the City Council of Saint Anthony have joined Propeller! I'd like to take this quiet moment to assure everyone that my posts are not now, never have been and never will be news. News quotient: 0%. The Surgeon General recommends you take a news supplement if you subsist entirely on a diet of my posts.

You do such a great job summing up hectic weeks, now that the election is over, the market has crashed, banks are going under, etc. things will be a bit more calmer.

I noticed that the review mentioned the story about the American automotive industry bailout and comments were made about how the UAW is the problem with the American automotive industry.
While doing more research of foreign automotive plants I came upon this article on factory conditions in "Toyota City". Very interesting how Toyota treats their workers when they have no one to fight for them.
