I gave you a negative, only because of this statement in your post:

I applaud you for treating this issue carefully, and not meaning to give any offense. But labeling any other humans as not normal is bound to be offensive.

Just wanted you to know why you got the neg.

  I just wanted to say ... I gave boots a 'pos'.
  
  Not because I agree with boots - but because I sense in this Propeller member an honest internal debate.
  
  When boots says ... ... ... "I do not think same sex relationships should be taught in schools. I just don't think it's fair to teach children that it is perfectly normal when it is not." ... ... ... I hear someone who has over large fears -- and that, over time -- those fears will be alleviated when Homosexuals are brought into the mainstream of society.
  
  As boots says -- this is a sensitive issue. And I don't think boots is coming at it like a hardliner like some of my fellow Christian Conservatives on Propeller.
  
  I just felt bad for boots because I saw all those negs - and I think boots is a heart felt person who is honestly struggling with the issue.
