Mark Halperin is now calling coverage of the 2008 campaign "the most disgusting failure of people in our business since the Iraq war," saying that it was "extreme bias, extreme pro-Obama coverage":

    McCain ran a horrible campaign. His choice for VP was terrible. He stood for nothing but more of the same and the only thing he was telling the voters was, "Vote for me because I'm not him". That's why McCain lost the election.
