"Songbird" by Eva Cassidy is a music video featuring art and paintings by Bouguereau, Manet, Lark, Spadecaller, and Young.

In 1998, two years after Cassidy died of cancer, this song was released on her album by the same name, "Songbird". The song was originally written by Christine McVie.

        I want to second SenorCoconut’s thoughts on Eva’s voice. Since you posted the Fields of Gold video I have become an Eva Cassidy fan. She does have a beautiful voice and when you combine that with the wonderful art work and the artful transitions it is nothing less than superb. Thank you

                    Yes, I believe Stevie Nix was the first to do it. I do know that Stevie has recorded this same song on one their albums.

                      Her cover of People Get Ready was the first song of hers I had heard, a few years ago. I'm a big Curtis Mayfield fan, he would've been proud. She totally did it justice.
