I'm a big foodie myself but frequently do have other thoughts!
I was quite taken with another of the Wonkette stories too about GW eating his way through S. America:
Here, according to the AP, is a list of things Bush has mentioned and/or been excited about during his recent trip through Latin America where, when asked about the highlights of his trip he listed the following:
* “…eating some of that good Brazilian food.”
* Uruguayan beef
* Blueberries
* Hauling lettuce (”one of the great experiences of my presidency”)
* Dinner
* Tortillas with guacamole and beans
* Lunch

  If this is Brazil and it's Saturday night, gotta have some of that there "feijoada". Mmmm...
  
  Never have run into tortillas in South America. LOL. That's a North American food.
