This is a relatively shallow view of a beautiful city with great cultural diversity...

I lived in Montreal and the focus and scope of this article is too narrow to be of much value. Perhaps using the description of "sin city" in itself is misleading. Yes, Montreal during prohibition was a haven for Americans seeking to imbibe.

However today, tourism to Montreal is for far better reasons that apply to a greater number of people than just party-ers and people seeking to indulge their prurient desires.

I have spent a lot ogf time in Montreal both working and visiting... A great place. In the late 60's and the 70's, there was no better place to be... it was a happening town.

I have visited a few times, love the place... I can't say this article reflects my take on the city though. I'm sure it's an aspect but I thought the fantastic bistros and arts made more of an impression in terms of the city's unique personality.
