Make sure you want a dog and understand what all is involved in being a responsible owner. A dog is a HUGE responsibility. Before you buy research the breed, make sure you can have the time to exercise and train it so it doesn't end up in an animal shelter.

check out akc.org, then do a search on the right dog breed for me, take the quiz. Don't all in love with the looks of the dog, go for a good disposition. Yard size, children, training, exercise, hair, grooming, high or low energy level things to be considered. Remember all puppies have a high level of energy. -
