Apple has removed a KB article recommending usage of antivirus software on its Mac computers, just a short time after it was highlighted in numerous articles. Apple has always touted the invulnerability of its OS against malware.

I have been an apple user since 2002 and have never had any problems related to any viruses and I do not run any anti-virus software. However, I know that OS is vulnerable to attack, it has been demonstrated in the past. It will only be a matter of time before people begin to go after Mac users, especially when Apple puts out a commercial bragging about not being plagued by viruses, spyware, malware ect. The first time I saw that spot I thought to my self, "Well, you've done it now Apple, put out a public challenge to all the less scrupulous hackers out there. Thanks a lot."
