Man doing 'doughnuts' on runway accused of DUI
Posted By ap 1 year ago in NewsPITTSBURGH (AP) — A 24-year-old Ohio man was accused of driving drunk after was caught doing "doughnuts" on a snow- and ice-covered suburban Pittsburgh airport runway. Police said the man ignored orders to stop spinning on the runway of the Beaver County Airport. The airport is about 40 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.
Police said they followed the man to a parking lot where he told police he had permission from the Federal Aviation Administration to test brakes on the runway.
The man faces drunken driving and other related charges.
