Bush Awards Presidential Citizen Medal To Watergate Crook »
Posted By Radiofreeeuropa 1 year ago in Political NewsEstablished in 1969, the Presidential Citizens Medal is the second highest honor for a civilian, recognizing Americans who have performed exemplary deeds of service for the nation. Past recipients include boxer Muhammad Ali , baseball great Hank Aaron , civil rights icon Dorothy Height , and Defense Secretary Robert Gates . But Bush honors a convicted felon from the infamous Watergate break-in and cover- up.
Heck of a job there Chuckie!

Listen to the liberals rant. What he has done since then means nothing. Just that one blot on his record. How about all of you having the light of all of your past put under scrutiny.

What a bunch of morons. He paid for what he did and you drips can't let it go. What does that say about you.

Though I'm not thrilled with Gates, there may be a point of political expedience to keeping him temporarily. It depends on what actually happens policy wise once the new president takes over,

Keep your friends close and your enemy closer? Let's at least see how Obama actually governs.
I'll be early in voices raised if he goes back on his word, but it remains to be seen. -

I have a feeling I know more about Watergate than you do. What did President Bush do that was illegal in this article? And what is illegal about a reformed convict who founded a program to help prisoners, former convicts, crime victims and their families?

Seems like your attacks are getting flimsy. -

yeah, the same ones who are bitching because some dared to question if Obama had any dealings with the governor of his state (who happens to be in the same party) as unwarranted smears, are trying to use this to continue to trash Bush.

Funny story.

Long time readers know I watched hundreds of hours of Jim Bakker's PTL Club Christian variety talk show. (It was sort of like a religious bumpkin version of the Tonight Show.)
So anyway, Jim is away on his Worldwide Ministry Outreach and Tammy Faye is helming the show. Coulson had just "found God" in prison and was out and a guest on the show.
Of course, Tammy Faye picked at her eye make-up with the long nail of her little finger (as was her way) all through the interview. But the real moment came when she, sitting behind the desk, burst loudly into song.
Coulson just sat there not knowing how to respond. About half-way through her song he got this look like, "For this I left prison? What have I gotten myself into?"
My friend watching and I were rolling on the floor.-

Your story says more about how quirky you (and your weird friend) are, than about Charles Coulson. Anyone who would sit and watch hundreds of hours of a religious show...that they openly ridicule, has a very....strange and embaressing life.

I'm done beating on you and your buddies. Clearly you outdid yourself by posting a story in an attempt to bash Bush. All you really did is make yourself, and your buddies, look like a bunch of losers.
Anytime you want to have serious debate on serious issues, feel free to actually think before you write.
In any event, you can rest easy that you morons entertained me for a few hours...
Take care. See you tomorrow.-

Mr. Hhussk,

Your attempts at debate are weak at best and reveal you as a pompous fool. If you think that you have beat anybody, you are delusional.
There is nothing that G.W. can do that is good for the country because he does not have the moral backbone and intellectual acumen to put anything together. All of his "friends" have deserted him on top of everything. He is a lonely individual. Even Laura looked pained while sitting beside him during the interview. Did you see him also having to force his way into the group of soldiers placed behind him during one of the photo ops?
This man can only dig a deeper hole for the country with all of his pardons and executive order signings that this country and our soon-to-be President are going to have to clean up.
You said in an earlier post that you are "extremely conservative." I think of extreme people as being extremely dumb because they refuse to get along with rational folk. Your arguments show some elements of this. Please start to work with America and not continually foment strife, as I believe this is your aim. -

Anyone who has close ties to Pat Robertson and James Dobson is someone I'd have issue with. But the biggest issue I have with him is:

On October 3, 2002, Colson was also one of the co-signers of a letter from prominent evangelical leaders supporting an invasion of Iraq. More recently he has spoken out in favor of California’s Prop. 8, accusing the LGBT community of “anti-religious bigotry.”-

this kind of thing bugs me just like it bugs me that ollie north has his own tv show.

these men not only broke the law, they were traitors to the constitution and oath-breakers as "civil servants".
i was brought up to believe that traitors should be put up against a wall and shot, not given medals and tv shows after brief "reformative" prison terms.-

All of the congressmen that questioned Ollie North in the hearings told him they thought he was to be commended for being a patriot. But now no one wants to remember that. They gave him immunity and then the prosecutor tried to overturn that and lost.
You seem to think that nobody can be rehabilitated. Why is that. That was a big liberal thing. I remember all the bleeding hearts quotes that went flying around.
Oh that is right. These are Republicans. Only liberals get that nice treatment. Hypocrites!!!

I don't know how much I trust a guy who figured out Jesus was the most important thing AFTER he went to prison.

I'd like to hear more about his program, but "faith based" doesn't move me either. John Calvin, you know a "Christian", essentially created the first Totalitarian state. His bag was "faith based" too.
To top it off, the guy is supports war. I don't know if Jesus would be down with that. -

Exactly. Only a crook would award another crook. Birds of a feather. Newsflash: Bush is not a Christian and never was. He is a hardcore Skull and Bones, New World Order, Bohemian Grove satan worshiper who hides behind Christianity. Wake up folks. Get your heads out of your cell phones and Ipods and READ books. Start with Architects of Conspiracy, by Tupper Saussy. And to get truthful news listen to the Power Hour on GCN network and visit www.infowars.com and listen to the Alex Jones show. CNN, NBC, CBS and the other alphabet liars will not tell you the truth. All they do is push the establishment/Corporate agenda propaganda. Do yourselves a favor and set your minds free by listening to and reading the truth - IF you dare!
