And this makes how many senators/governors/mayors involved in scandal and corruption just this year? Let's see....Blagojevich, Edwards, Craig, Foley, the New York governor, that senator from Louisiana wasn't it....feel free to jump in, I'm sure I am missing some.

The corruption crosses party lines, position and geographic locale. We need to keep that in mind when these threads turn into a blood sport. Politicians, in this day and age, should be considered guilty until proven innocent as soon as they take the oath of office. That way no one will be shocked, upset, disappointed or even thrilled when we learn about the dirty politician of the month.-

- but I don't think I can agree to assuming they are guilty until proven innocent.
That would lead to even more fighting; and even more cynicism.
Nor would it be fair to the accused, (of whatever party); and all the honest people would
just give up running for any office. -

I hadn't heard this one.
It is really sad how bad the corruption lies in our government, I hope that it all gets ferreted out so that we can start this new administration out without a lot of BS to waddle through. We can't afford any more time not focusing on our countries problems and being dragged down by corruption.-

Does anyone find it surprising that the auto bailout story is being ignored and instead...we're talking about an investigation into a Republican senator...and that a investigation surrounding Jesse Jackson Jr. is also being ignored?

I didn't realize how many liberals were actually running this show...
Look, if Coleman did something wrong, I'm sure there will be an indictment....down the road. And when that indictment comes, I'll be happy to discuss it. -

I think the Republican party has to start recruiting politicians from the state penitentiary to save the tax payers time and money.

Do you realize that you're making this remark on the emergence of a heavily corrupt Democrat Party scandal? Are you ignoring Charlie Wrangel, William Jefferson, Tim Mahoney? I don't know if you're ridiculously partisan or just stupid for making that statement.
