A Japanese research team has revealed it had created a technology that could eventually display on a computer screen what people have on their minds, such as dreams.Researchers at the ATR Computational Neuroscience Laboratories succeeded in processing and displaying images directly from the human brain, they said in a study unveiled ahead of publication in the US magazine Neuron.

    Hmmm.

    I'll believe it when I see it.

    Computers can barely process language translation issues. Processing dreams in any way seems unlikely.

    From the story I don't think they are just looking at areas of the brain that show activity. They are actually intercepting the signals from the retina to the brain and translating it. This is pretty major. This isn't simple MRI images.

    Well I'll believe it when I see it also.
    Seriously tho, can you just imagine??? that would be freaky as hell.....I can really vividly remember a lot of my dreams, but I can't imagine watching them on screen...that's creepy.

      This would be awesome as long as I'm the only one controlling the on-off button, and I always get to preview before publishing. Well then again, life itself doesn't really offer those controls!!
