Not only has the commission endorsed gay marriage, but the Governor has also prodded the legislature to move forward with a bill to upgrade civil unions to marriages. The Governor is right as is the commission. Civil unions are a separate but not equal system which creates a lower citizenship class for gay partners in a civil union compared to heterosexuals in a marriage.

DaneL for someone that claims in their profile 'STRONG believer in the constitution and that it is NOT a living document that changes with time. A STRONG supporter of the 2nd amendment, believing it guarantees all other rights.'

you sure are full of it! Why don't you change your profile to guarantees all other rights UNLESS you are homosexual? at least you'd be honest in your profile.
EVERY citizen deserves equal rights, not almost equal, not the illusion of equal, but FULL complete equality. And it will happen, people like you will not be able to stop it, it's not going to go away, just accept it, everyone deserves equal rights!!!

Not entirely true. Greeks didn't really have a formal legitimization for a relationship, but evidence indicates same-sex couples were fairly common. We know from Roman records that same-sex couples were registered in the same way as different-sex couples. The term 'marriage' itself was first used during the Roman empire and it wasn't until 342 CE that same-sex marriage was specifically declared illegal in Rome by Constantius II and Constans. Ironically, Constans is known to have had male lovers, yet he made homosexuality punishable by burning to death.
Marriage wasn't added as a Christian sacrament until the mid 12th century.
BTW, the percentage of homosexuals in any given community is estimated at closer to 10% (whether 'out' or closeted). -

And those queer people that like to wear fashionable clothing will skip away too! You can live in your little doll house in Whitetrashville forever, won't that be funnn?

That's right! And why should women not be considered property? And those pesky black people should just go back to being slaves too! Why not just repeal all civil rights legislation because rights haven't been accessible to those people for years? That's just the way it's been. No need to change it. Right endo?

How Sad, Here we go again, David Dupa is on the wrong side of the HoMosexual Issue again?
Is it Noemal for a HoMosexual man to want to Marry, another Homosexual Man? What's wrong with this picture?
Also, is it Normal for Normal Individuals to want to marry normal members Men and women who want to marry?
Is it Fair to say David Dupa does Not understand the total picture? Dupa likes to attend HoMosexual Parades which really Hurt the HoMosexual cause? really, where does he stand on the HoMosexual issue, How Sad....-
