The only time I ever saw KISS was in the 80s during the "Animalize" tour...no make up...but was up at the stage and could see up Shannon Tweed's skirt cause she was just off stage and when she'd sit...ah, memories... -

I can't say I've ever liked KISS, thought Gene Simmons persona was really cool,and their stage performance was cool, being I was like 12 at the time.
