Hello, Endoscopy. It IS kind of like that snake handling stuff. But, Muhammad takes it further by saying those seven dates will also protect you from magic. I guess, if you eat seven dates in the morning, you can attend a David Blain show without the fear of him falling on you, or, having pieces of Chris Angel's act blinding you when the tnt goes off. Of course, Mr. Moe (Muhammad), had a tendency of talking about Jews being transformed into apes and pigs, and, there was the flying donkey supposedly taking him to heaven, so, maybe he was talking about THAT kind of magic.
