But never has he so enthusiastically applied his talents for spreading misinformation as he did to the 2008 presidential race, focusing his energies primarily on President-elect Barack Obama. Day after day, Hannity devoted his two Fox News shows and his three-hour ABC Radio Networks program to "demonizing" the Democratic presidential candidates, starkly explaining in August: "That's my job. ... I led the 'Stop Hillary Express.' By the way, now it's the 'Stop Obama Express.' " Hannity's "Stop Obama Express" promoted and embellished a vast array of misleading attacks and false claims about Obama. Along the way, he uncritically adopted and promoted countless Republican talking points and played host to numerous credibility-challenged smear artists who painted Obama as a dangerous radical. When he was not going after Obama, Hannity attacked members of Obama's family, as well as Sen. Hillary Clinton and other progressives, and denied all the while that he had unfairly attacked anyone.

I'm sure any competent psychotherapist would have much to say about the way Georgia50 (or Ann Coulter for that matter) will divert any non-sexual subject into comments about sexual insecurities. Doesn't take much pschological insight to see how his/her mind works.

You will find the majority of the charity work is done by conservatives. Soup kitchens, homeless shelters and the like are funded by guys like me. Churches, schools and Scouting are done by guys like me. People of faith who believe in helping there fellow man. Not simply giving them a hand out from the taxpayers, where we actually get involved. We hire them or try working with them. So get off your soap box or ivory tower.-

Never said I'm perfect, I'm not. I've made my share of terrible errors. Last year, fell broke my back, trust me, it was carelessness on my part alone. Not perfect, actually clumsy as hell.

As to most of the left wing, which is by far the majority of the people here. Prior to Propeller, Netscape certainly was more balanced. Conservatives are attacked here regularly.

As to equal, we're all different. I've worked very hard for what I have. Spend years in school. Spent years in the military. Sacrificed greatly to get where I am today. It's clear others don't or can't do that. Perhaps that's one reason my firm is still hiring and no layoffs are in the future.-

I think that your supporting of the troops is great. I live in Milwaukee, the code pink type folks are very strong here. They've actually stood outside of the VA and held "meetings" during some services.

As to Scouting, I've won the Silver Beaver, Venturing award of Merit and District Award also. I sucked at sports so never coached but have served as a trainer. It was a natural, being as clumsy as I am, taping ankles and knees became a natural. Your helping there is great.
I don't talk of this to brag, I share this because it's a great part of who I am. I've been blessed and believe in giving back to my community through service and donations. It is a huge part of my personal faith. Oh, there's that evil word, faith....-

It's the highest award that can be presented to a volunteer by a Council. There are awards higher but they would be on a region or national level. It's an award that is generally reserved for people with many more years of service than I have. I was greatly honored to be considered much less winning.

Those who protest their lack of racist sentiment the loudest are the most likely to be holding such. We all have the potential for racism. It is how you channel those feelings that shows your true character. Funny that Obama's raliies were multi-hued, multi-ethnic. Hardly the case at McCain-Palin rallies. I know, I went to a Palin rally. The only people of color there were the security guards and school janitor and they weren't there to listen. A segment of America attended but hardly representative of America as a whole. All lily-white, Christian and conservative. Could have been a Klan meeting from the early 1900's. And they proudly brought their kids to hear her words of absolute hatred against Obama. I don't recall a single word of true policy discussion. Just talking points, one after the other. Sickening stuff.

Or in many cases, they only beleive it because they WANT TO beleive it. If this negative story was about Keith Oberman, then most of you would be saying it's all BS! Keep in mind, just because it's written or printed somewhere DOES NOT MAKE IT TRUE! Sure Hannity is right wing, but most of what he says and reports is true. He doesn't have tens of millions of people watching and listening to him for no good reason. How about Propeller tell us just how insane and full of crap Keith Oberman is. Where's that story? "Barack did not threaten to invade Pakistan". Given the right circumstances -- following Al Quaeda operatives across the border or if it was KNOWN that Pakistan was harboring terrorists or bin Laden, yes he said he would attack them.

The other problem I have is your sides claims of his media status. Sean, Rush and the like are entertainers not reporters. If you're going to ask Sean to be a reporter then perhaps it's time the reporters actually do their jobs too. Ask the tough questions of Barry. How could he sit is a racist church for over 20 years and not realize their calling me whitey or cracker is racism. Better yet, how could he let his kids sit there too? How about explaining his careers? How does being an editor for a college paper or community activist prepares you for the White House. How about how he claims to care about the poor yet his own brother lives on less than a dollar a day. That alone speaks volumes. But again, the media will never ask those questions. They're all about hope & change. The hope that when he's done you might still have a little pocket change left.-

I attend a church that is primarily African American. I've been a member all of my life and welcomed the diversity. Especially the music. We were stuffy old church from the 16th century but with a change in membership the music changed with the congregation.

I guess it is only when it agrees with your point of view. While I agree Hannity is almost as unwatchable as Bloberman he does have the right to speak his mind. When it comes to disinformation I think the king of that is Dan Rather. I will give you this if I hear Hannity say " Bill Ayers the unrepentant terrorist" one more time I'm going to blow up my tv.
