Here's some games that have been out for a while that few people complained much about.

My feelings are still divided on this. I hate the fact that someone threw shoes at the President of our country. On the other hand, Bush has done a lot to deserve it, and he's lucky the Reporter only threw shoes.

I posted this on a different thread & will do so here again. If another country, God forbid, ever invaded America, I'd be throwing something at their President to & it wouldn't be just shoes.-

Considering Bush's hand in the crafting of a war that was not necessary, crimes against humanity, the deaths of more than 100,000 people, and the damage he has done by dismantling our constitution, I really am not too concerned about the shoes that he ducked. Will he need follow-up care for PTSD?
He should have been impeached and imprisoned long before standing there the other day in front of a nation that he has done more to destroy than to help.

Other than noting the irony of this reporter tossing his shoes at Bush who deposed Saddam Hussein, I guess if the reporter had throw a shoe at the dictator, he would already be dead, not in prison facing a trial. However, if I was given a chance to express my outrage at what this Moron in Chief has done to our nation, and the world in general, I would make sure that my dog left something on the shoe before I threw it..... January 20, 2009 can't come fast enough..

actually, the real irony is that this reporter was promptly bundled off to be beaten and tortured. so you can forget about saddam.
do you think the reality of what has happened to this man matches bush's words?
silly me... reality NEVER matches bush's words :|

George Bush needs something much more severe sent his way than a shoe. Georgie Boy needs to go to prison for the death and destruction he has caused.

Most of you may not remember it but this shoe incident reminded me of a Palestinian boy about 10-12 years old, shown one day in my Newspaper. He was shooting an Israeli Tank with a slingshot as it was demolishing his house.
I wrote an article about the boy using his WMD on the defenseless Israelis. The tank gunner took a shot at him with his cannon. The shell missed, but later a tank gunner shot a French News reporter with a tank cannon. The reporter was taking pictures of what was going on.
That gunner was a better shot. They might have found enough bone and flesh to fill up a shoe box.
Some people need more than a shoe thrown at them. -

I do not like the fact that OUR president had a shoe thrown at him! and if I was the new president, I would be very concerned, over the CIA's protection of me, forget the fact if you support president Bush, He is still our president, so please CIA, do your job, I remember crying at the death of president Kennedy.

Yes, my mother also remembers crying the night of President Kennedy's death.

But, I don't think we can talk about a President like Kennedy, while discussing President Bush. In my opinion, when discussing an article about Bush, one must separate the office of the Presidency & Bush. The office of the President of the United States of America deserves recognition and the utmost respect. Bush deserves a place @ Guantanamo Bay or Abu Grahib.

PCKNOWLEDGE....i agree with you 100%. Iraq was INVADED. If another country tried to invade this one, killed our president and his family, I think we would all be wanting to throw things...not just shoes. All of these deer rifles and shotguns would be put to other uses.
Reply
NO country has the right to invade another one the way we did.
They tried to convince everyone it was to make us safer because of what happend on 9-11.
Whad did Sadam have to do with 9-11? The man responsible for 9-11 is still free after all of the money spent and all of the innocent lives lost...American, British, Iraqi.....it doenst matter we are all people. -

The fact that our president had a shoe thrown at him is an indication of what the rest of the world might be feeling about us. How does making so many people even angrier at the United States make us safer?

George Bush is such a lying, dishonest president and his lies caused such a horrendous amount of death and destruction in Iraq that if all that happened to him was that he had to duck a tossed shoe it wasn't nearly enough. The man should never be saluted for he is a war criminal.

Can you throw a shoe at Bush? I think it depends on distance, coordination, and, how angry you are that Saddam isn't around anymore to invade neighboring countries, dry up marsh lands to kill Shiites, gas Kurdish towns and put people into wood chippers.

Mutainia. I don't think anyone is angry that Saddam is not around anymore to kill people. I think what people are mad about is that we have Bush and his people around that have caused the death of over a million people, displaced 4 million more, devastated a country, and did it all to enrich their friends and justify the destruction and deaths by just flat out lying to get the war going in the first place. An immoral war based on a set of lies and propaganda.
Reply
Throwing shoes was a kind thing to do to such a bearer of death and destruction.
Iraq didn't do anything to the United States. And the million who died because of Bush are just as dead as any ever killed by any other tyrant living or dead.
