Iraqi PM's office says shoe-thrower apologizes »
Posted By ameliog 12 months ago in NewsAn Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at U.S. President George W. Bush apologized to Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki for embarrassing him before the watching world, the prime minister's office said on Thursday.
One of Zaidi's brothers said he had no information about him but found the idea he sent Maliki an apology unbelievable.
"This information is absolutely not true. This is a lie. Muntazer is my brother and I know him very well. He does not apologize," Udai al-Zaidi said. He added: "But if it happened, I tell you it happened under pressure."

This story is going in two directions. Yesterday I read a report where Muntazer al-Zaidi tells his brother that he is well.
