As I set here tears running down my face. My heart is herting so bad. You see I have to say goodbye to my 14 year old famley dog. She was my best friend.It's like losing a famley member. My wife is a mess her heart is broke also. Dont know why i'm writing this just felt like i wanted to let all my friends here know how i a'm feeling right now. Anyway if anyone reads this keep us in your thoughts it will pass but for now it's a bad time for us.Thank You Newperson :(

I've never met you, but my heart goes out to you. I've been through the same thing a few times, but it doesn't get any easier.

We have a new dog now, but that doesn't erase the hurt of losing the old one. Just reading your post caused me a severe pang as I thought of the dog we lost in 2004.
All you can do is remember the good times. I'm sure your dog wouldn't want you to be sad. Miss her, of course. Just don't let her passing cause you too much grief.

Newperson, my heart goes out to you. We lost one of our beloved dogs in July and the other in August. Both were almost 14. There is no better friend or family member than a dog. They are truly sweetness and light. The petloss.com site has been a real source of comfort to me. Peace to you, my friend.
