Religious extremists feel compelled to force their doctrine on everyone--and Bush has made sure to do this at every opportunity--and has even created new opportunities to inflict his religion on us.

And the Catholic church has recently regressed to the ancient and become more hardline. No wonder this group of Catholics has philosophically splintered. I know plenty of Catholics who use birth control and who just ignore the Vatican on issues where they disagree.
I don't put a value judgment on abortion, since it's only "bad" if you believe so. But I think the worst thing we do to our kids is not teach them about their biology and mental changes related to reproduction. And I think all children should be planned.

This is a stupid article. If not checked it could make you believe that the Catholic Church was behind this article. The Catholic Doctrine is very much in support of the Bush doctrine. Catholics for Choice goes against the fundamental doctrine of the Church on the issue of abortion,

Hmmm, it does point to a schism within Catholicism between those who are Papists and those who hold a more realistic vision of the way the world operates.

My ex-wife left the Church largely because of the hostility of the Church against women in the clergy and various procreation choice issues. -
