I know we are a generation of people, world wide, who depend on the extraction of oil from the earth, but what a nasty thing it is! Fires that have killed an untold number of people, oil spills that have killed an untold number of sea life, and fowl. Emissions that destroy our air, and health. As much as we have come to depend on it, i wish i could live to see the day that it's no longer used or needed.

I really believe there are viable, affordable alternatives, but there were too many people getting too rich off fossil fuel, and their money squashed the possibility of it being introduced to the public before now. Even now, i would say they are still in control of how much is being allowed in the efforts of introducing alternatives.

I have read articles about the massive amount of energy generated by our oceans, and how that energy could be used to fuel the whole world indefinitely. I don't know if it can be harnassed to fuel vehicles, but i have also read articles that basically prove that our vehicles can be fueled by used vegetable oils, water, and air!-

There have been fuels that have been invented, patented, and are currently used by their creators that are safe and effective non-fossil fuels, but they are being blocked from production. These patents are usuallybought up and then put into the deep freeze by the oil companies.
