RNC Issues Apology To Negroes »
Posted By TimALoftis 11 months, 3 weeks ago in HumorJust days after the news broke that former Tennessee GOP leader Chip Saltsman had released a song parody entitled "Barack the Magic Negro," the Republican National Committee issued what it called "an official apology to America's negroes."
In the statement, the RNC ripped Saltsman's song, calling it "tone-deaf, unacceptable, and offensive to every negro in the country."
"We do not want one ill-considered song parody to create the wrong impression," the RNC statement read. "The Republican Party has always been, and will always be, the friend of the negro."

I'm a life member of the GOP. I know the comments may originally have come from comments made by members of the DNC, there's no reason why we would have ever used this song. Besides it not being funny, it's in very poor taste. We are the party of Lincoln and Eisenhower. Racism isn't in our history. We are the party that won the Civil War.

So it's written in the LA times once and y'all feel your can use the term derogatorily or in a poorly written parody and then blame someone else for making you do it? The never my fault republican party at it's best. Take some responsibility for your party since bush hasn't.

Those who patheticly attempt to justify racist nonsense,
Reply
on the grounds that it was inspired by the opposition,
or was meant to be funny,
or was no worse than what some other person did,
- make the same dreary error that brought the republican brand to its present low market share.
The Republicans are looking for new leaders; let us hope they chose ones that can at least recognize old mistakes. -
