These stories are terrifying to imagine, and they must be truly tragic for the families concerned.

Good point Tim. Also Nurse Sharks, similar to Great White, are often mistaken for Great Whites. Great Whites often get the blame for the Nurse Shark attacks. The Nurse Sharks are off the coast of Australia where the attack happened. I have a fear / respect for sharks and don't like seeing the Great Whites get the blame. They do enough on their own.

If true, I hope the person died quickly.

I have come across a shark or two while surfing. Mostly Tiger and Mako. They usually were after the fish and not my Gordon On occasion if a great white was spotted intelligence gave way to fun and I abandoned the water.

I think one of mankind's primal fears is being eaten alive. The movie Jaws freaked me out and the soundtrack can still make me shiver.

Well I'm hell bent on hunting and tracking down this killer shark before he has a few more people for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert....Sorry my love of nature goes flying out the door on this horrific story....I'm deeply saddened when I take a look at the smiling face on this gentleman Mr. Guest.... If I were his family member I'd want to bring his remains home to be put to rest.....
