What the story leaves out is the sequence of events.

    Israel was created in 1948.
Immediately the Muslims surrounding it attacked at the same time telling Muslims living there to leave while the Army of Islam drove the Jews into the sea and killed them there.
A significant portion of the Muslims left.
After the war was lost by the Muslims the ones that left wanted to go to Muslim countries to live.
They were denied entry by all Muslim countries.
A few went back to their homes and lived there.
The rest created their own ghettos to live in.
Today those who stayed or went back immediately are full Israeli citizens and have members in the Knesset and a supreme court jurist.

So why did those compassionate Muslim countries refuse to let them come and live there?

Holy crap I can't believe I am supporting you endo but you got this one right. The main reason the other muslim countries won't ever help the palestinians is because they hate Israel but know better than to attack it head on. They send weapons and money to the palestinians and let them do the dirty work and suffer the consequences. Funny that for all the hate Israel talk the thing that upsets them the most is when the Israelis lock the gate to keep them away from their jobs and markets they enjoy in a democracy. Recently a bunch of palestinians rushed the egyptian border because the Israelis got fed up with being killed and locked the gate. The egyptians machine gunned them because they don't want palestinians in their country. When will the palestinians realize that Israel is their ally and the muslim countries want to keep them suffering because they are sacrificial pawns fighting someone elses war. If the palestinians want to know where things stand try asking saudi arabia which is overflowing with money to buy them food and medicine and ship it through egypt. Not going to happen. Or the Israelis who at the moment are trying to negotiate a 72 hour cease fire so humanitarian supplies can be moved into gaza from the Israeli side.

Still peddling that old zionist propaganda Endo? The fact is that the UN was in the process of setting up a single country in Palestine with equal rights for all inhabitants regardless of race or religion when the zionists lauched their massive terror and ethnic cleansing campaign.

Zionism: The Real Enemy of the Jews

... According to first and still existing draft of history, Israel was given its birth certificate and thus legitimacy by the UN Partition Resolution of 29 November 1947. This is nonsense.

In the first place the UN without the consent of the majority of the people of Palestine did not have the right to decide to partition Palestine or assign any part of its territory to a minority of alien immigrants in order for them to establish a state of their own.

Despite that, by the narrowest of margins, and only after a rigged vote, the UN General Assembly did pass a resolution to partition Palestine and create two states, one Arab, one Jewish, with Jerusalem not part of either. But the General Assembly resolution was only a proposal – meaning that it could have no effect, would not become policy, unless approved by the Security Council.

The truth is that the General Assembly’s partition proposal never went to the Security Council for consideration. Why not? Because the US knew that, if approved, it could only be implemented by force; and President Truman was not prepared to use force to partition Palestine.

So the partition plan was vitiated, became invalid, and the question of what the hell to do about Palestine (after Britain had made a mess of it and walked away) was taken back to the General Assembly for more discussion. The option favoured and proposed by the US was temporary UN Trusteeship. It was while the General Assembly was debating what do that Israel unilaterally declared itself to be in existence – actually in defiance of the will of the organised international community, including the Truman administration.

The truth of the time was that the Zionist state, which came into being mainly as a consequence of Zionism terrorism and ethnic cleansing, had no right to exist and, more to the point, could have no right to exist unless ….. Unless it was recognised and legitimized by those who were dispossessed of their land and their rights during the creation of the Zionist state. In international law only the Palestinians could give Israel the legitimacy it craved. And that legitimacy was the only thing the Zionists could not take from the Palestinians by force. ...

That history reads like it came from some sort of condensed Zionist propaganda. Like some simpleton's version of history. This history hardly began in 1948. The idea of Israel is basically a British creation (like Iraq) and just as disastrous an idea. And of course it all goes back to Jerusalem and the idiotic fights over whose phony messiah reigns. And the fact that these people deemed themselves as "chosen" in their own version of history. From the very beginning we have sided with Israel and there is no change in sight for that policy. This is certainly assured with Hillary Clinton in charge of State. Hopefully Obama brings some reason and restraint to the discussion.

A decent article, if it comes across as biased it is simply because it is the antithesis of what is presented in America. The perception of the Arab world is just as skewed by the likes of Al-Jazeera. But few here dare challenge Israel on any issue. You are quickly termed an anti-Semite, as if most even know what a Semite is to begin with. There is no open discussion thus the conflict continues without resolution in sight.

Listen to the antisemitic rants about a history they do not want to hear. Look what happened when the Palestinians broke down the fence to Egypt. Why did Egypt do what they did? That is very recent history that confirms what I was saying.

Once again you just had to prove my point. It's like playing chess with a rock as an opponent.

Are you giving out al taqiyya? Sounds like it. Search for it if you don't know what it means.

You must have a vague idea of what agnosticism represents? I think all religions are horsesh-t. Not that some good cannot be derived from positive belief but you are still in the end praying into thin air. And man-made dogma hardly interests me.

And I suppose your God talks back to you? And that your supposed God is different from the one your Muslim brother prays to? Although they both are rooted in the (again supposed) God of Abraham.

You are funny. Agnostic means they do not know. Your saying I am praying to thin air means that you believe there is no God. That makes you atheistic.

This is hilarious. Several atheists keep trying to tell me that atheism means that they have no belief one way or another. That is what agnostic means. Do not know.

There you are claiming to be an agnostic and saying "you are still in the end praying into thin air." That means that you deny the existance of God. Atheism.

By the way my post was targeted at hyper as well as you.

No, he is saying that YOU are praying to air. Meaning that YOUR god is false.

Furthermore Endo, by then the zionists had already been practicing terror against civilians for several years.

A Summary of Zionist Terrorism in the Near East — 1944-1948

Prepared for Dr. Ralph J. Bunche, UN Mediator for Palestine

Foreward: In view of the tragic assassination of Count Folke Bernadotte by identified Jewish terrorists on September 17 of this year, the following report has been prepared for the use of Dr. Bunche, Count Bernadotte’s immediate replacement.

The report is a compilation of all identified terrorist attacks on British, American and Arab individuals and entities from the assassination of the British Resident Minister in the Middle East on November 6, 1944 by members of the terrorist Jewish Stern gang to the assassination of Count Bernadotte on September 17, 1948 by members of this same gang of fanatics.

This information is compiled from reports of the US Department of State, the British Foreign Office and various American and British press services.

                  Antisemitic
For those who do not know what it means it refers to the descendant of Shem. Most of the region of the Middle East are that. It has in modern history become associated with the Jews and ignores the other Semitic groups there including the Arabs.
