The Horror Of Animal Experimentation And Exploitation »

Posted By Revelation1412 12 months ago in Style

Each year over 3 million animals are used in scientific experiments that are often too painful or too bizarre to even describe in an article that children might read. The exploitation and abuse of the animals that we are supposed to care for is a tragedy of epic proportions that grows every day.

I am a confirmed animal lover, but his is just inflammatory BS put out by PETA. I will not use cosmetics that are tested on animals, but unfortunately, some animal testing is necessary before medications and treatments are used on people.

While PETA claims to be animal RIGHTS activist, they actually have a hidden agenda of wanting to rid the world of animals. There is a definite difference between animal RIGHTS proponents and animal WELFARE organizations.
Read http://www.petakillsanimals.com. And then compare what PETA's own website says about their agenda.

I have personal knowledge of PETA agents coming to dogs shows and releasing dogs to "freedom" which have subsequently been run over and killed as a result of PETA's stupid actions. At one time, they were on the FBI's domestic terrorist list.

If you want to support humane treatment of animals, support ASPCA, not the Humane Society, who is in PETA's back pocket.

Your so full of it that you make this whole post reak!!!!!

I have worked with PETA for years and at times they are extremebut they have always held the welfare of the animals as their first priority.

The American Humane Society is wonderful to.

Also, your link doesn't work, LOL

I support PETA and the ASPCA; they both care.
They both would agree that much animal research is
        unnessesary, and unjustifiable.

Thanks for posting this thread, Revelation.

The reality is that animals are regularly subjected to addictive drugs.

The Humane Society in my county is nothing less then absolutely WONDERFUL! so are our animal control officers, every winter spending $ out of their own pockets to make sure all outside animals have straw bedding and passing out fines to those who neglect their pets.
I know some animal experiment is necessary, but any that are tested using products that we do not need, such as make-up is not.
Also what kind of person can do some of the tests they perform? seriously they must be in the same mind form as nazi doctors were.

              Exactly lvr....
To be able to completely disregard the sheer terror of that cat for the sake of "science" is chilling.
Don't most serial killers start with animals?

peta is shameful,,putting out sensational graphic supposed facts,,just to disturb or guilt people is sad,,,peta has the highest extermination rate of any so called humane group,,these are just money rakers,,looking for their share of the pie..about a year ago, right here on nutscape was the story of peta employees being caught in the middle of the night disposing of the exterminated bodies of cats and dogs turned over to them for humane treatment,,,in that article 85% is the number quoted by peta officials of the animals they receive they kill,,,,so much for humane, ethical treatment..peta is and will be nothing but a leech for cash for the lined pockets of zealots,,,,there is a place for all of gods creatures,,,god gave us dominion over the animals,,they are not equal, and have none of the same rights as humans,,if we abuse them we are wrong,,but they are mans to use,,whether you wear it or eat it,,
