There are already online classes posted for free at several major universities for free. You can't get credit for them but the knowledge is there and they can't take it away from you. This should be extended to include the high school and grammar school levels.

Many school districts are starting to both set up their own online tutoring services for students, but they are also investing in online tutoring to help those students that are struggling to keep up.
