I vividly recall that cons' tears started to flow like a faucet in '06 when they were kicked out of power (after getting us into two wars and rubberstamping anything the criminal Bush administration requested). Perhaps they realized then that the party was over and Americans had finally grown wise to their pathological lying and their willingness to pimp anyone or anything for a tax cut. Who knows? But the most telling moment for me was during the election-- when I actually heard cons sobbing and wailing that Obama was trying to "buy" the Presidency or that the media was "in the tank" for Obama. Oddly these same people were dead silent earlier in the decade when the GOP had a huge financial advantage over the Democrats. Cons raised nary a peep when the media was in the tank helping to promote the war most cons have been fighting only from behind their pc keyboards. So, it's true that there is much whining and bleating from the GOP but after the last 8 years, I think most of us could really use a good laugh. ;-P
