After months of speculation, the BBC have announced that Matt Smith will succeed David Tennant as the legendary Time Lord in "Doctor Who" following the completion of the four special episodes that will be broadcast throughout 2009.

    I'm not sure how I feel about it. . . might have to try to find some of his work on Netflix. 2010 is a long ways away . . .

      I wasn't sure who he was either, but then realised he was Jim in the TV version of Philip Pullmans 'Ruby in the Smoke'. He didn't have a huge part in that, but I thought he was ok.
