That seems hardly fair, given the president-elect does not take office until January 20. But foreign wars don't wait for Washington inaugurations.

Obama is doing the right thing. He is not president. The Congress with whom he will deal hasn't been sworn in. There is nothing Obama can do at this point in time, and his silence is appropriate. -

Listen to the liberals sucked into the al tiqiyya (acceptable lying for Islam etc.) of the Muslim propaganda. Nobody looks at the Hamas charter or the charters of the other terrorist organization.

1. Hamas finds it unacceptable that any land ever conquered by Islam should not be under Sharia law.
2. The only acceptable solution is for Israel to be obliterated and Sharia law to be instituted.
3. All non Muslim groups trying to broker a peace treaty is considered not acceptable.
With the above they cite the Quran, hadith, and noted Muslims of the past.
Because they are using the actual Quran and hadith to reinforce what they say they have many many young Muslim men willing to be suicide bombers and send rockets into Israel from the parking lots of hospitals and keep arms in mosques.
How do you make peace with someone who only wants you wiped out as their avowed goal and never recants that goal.
Question about # 1, Does that apply to Spain? Will they be next?

Boasting more than 500 PhDs in its ranks, the majority are middle-class professionals - doctors, dentists, scientists and engineers. Most of its leadership have been educated in our universities and harbour no ideological hatred towards the West. It is a grievance-based movement, dedicated to addressing the injustice done to its people. It has consistently offered a ten-year ceasefire to give breathing space to resolve a conflict that has continued for more than 60 years.
The Bush-Blair response to the Hamas victory in 2006 is the key to today's horror. Instead of accepting the democratically elected Government, they funded an attempt to remove it by force; training and arming groups of Fatah fighters to unseat Hamas militarily and impose a new, unelected government on the Palestinians. Further, 45 Hamas MPs are still being held in Israeli jails.
Six months ago the Israeli Government agreed to an Egyptian- brokered ceasefire with Hamas. In return for a ceasefire, Israel agreed to open the crossing points and allow a free flow of essential supplies in and out of Gaza. The rocket barrages ended but the crossings never fully opened, and the people of Gaza began to starve. This crippling embargo was no reward for peace.

After the end of World War One, a small piece land was set aside fro the Jews, it was called Palestine. The world sat silent as the Arab world wanted to take over after World War Two. When the Jews fought, the "world" balked. Once the nation ISRAEL existed, was recognized by the world.
The Islamic world started the Six Day War of June 1967. They attacked again in the autumn of 1973.
The 'world" view of Israel? As a whole the world hates Jewish people. Only need to go as far as the Book Exodus.
